Anderson Gooseneck Mount Ultimate 5th Wheel and Dodge 3500
I have a single rear wheel 2014 Dodge 3500 and a 2015 Grand Design Momentum 350M, really curious if anyone with a similar combination is using the Anderson hitch. I currently have a B&W slider, at the top of the adjustment it just barely works for clearance given that the truck rides so high in the rear (using airbags too). My concern is that I will have enough clearance given that the hitch is not adjustable. Anyone have any experience with that hitch or combo?2.3KViews0likes11CommentsB&W Companion Slider - Slide Issue
I just purchased a new fifth wheel and pulled for the first yesterday. Everything went great until I got home from a 400 mile trip... when I tried to have the slider to into the back position to backup into our storage spot the locking mechanism on the slider would not lock in the rear position. I tried it numerous times and on level ground... just would not go. Finally I did unhitch and manually slide it back and forth and the lever locked without much effort. Hitched up again and did not seem to have the issue anymore. The hitch is brand new, I have no idea if I did something wrong or if this is normal or ??? I am looking at Fuzion 371 and Momentum 350 too. Am I wrong in assuming the Momentum will be ~$10-$20K more than the Fuzion? We walked through a Momentum 380 and the quality was clearly above any trailer I have been in, ANY not just toy haulers. That being said the Fuzion seems like a good product. I am curious if anyone understands what M Class means regarding the Grand Design Momentum. My trailer is stored away from my home (about 2 hours) and I made a foolish mistake winterizing last fall. When draining all the tanks I lost one of the caps on the drain hoses. Without having to grab a cap of the trailer (since it is so far away), was hoping someone one the forum knows what size and pitch thread the cap is on the drain hose under the trailer.
