We got here yesterday only to discover they didn’t have the site types we were promised and had reserved AND had raised the prices well above what we had in our reservations. To make matters worse they will not let you cancel any part of your reservation without forfeiting the full amount of the new charge. Think about this. They could raise the price to an astronomical level and force you to pay. THIS IS A GOOD SAM PARK. Disgusting to say the least. Sites are short, on top of each other and in a questionable neighborhood. They do have a security gate. DO NOT STAY HERE. Disgusting and as far as we’re concerned fraudulent.Re: Strange odor at nightAppreciate everyone's input. There are a couple of suggestions in particular that are worth checking. Really do thank everyone. (We have no neighbor's right now so it's not that.)Re: Strange odor at nightSCV Jeff, I know it's a strange combination but wanted to provide information. New filters on on the fresh water and the macerater is in use vs the sewer hose yet we're getting what seems to be a stagnant water smell. Work with me here ????Strange odor at nightWe have a strange thing happening. We have the macerater on our Ambassador so gray water isn't draining automatically. Changed filters two days ago and since then we are experiencing a strange smell that pops up evenings. Almost a stagnant water smell. The weird thing is it's gone in the morning. I don't know how else to explain the problem. Any ideas?Re: LouisvilleThanks. Think we'll give it a shot. The by-pass is way too long. Don't think those awful storms are forecast for Louisville but driving from Yuma to there could be difficult right now.LouisvilleHeaded up I-65 north and will be going thru Louisville tomorrow. Know there's lots of construction and have heard that it's easy to get thru and don't do it, it's awful. Any thoughts out there from recent travelers? In the fall and last spring we cruised throughRe: LouisvilleThanks for everyone's input. We'll probably tough it out and go through. Thought about the Madison way but we have a 42' MH towing a full sized pick-up. Didn't want the curvy roads. Again, thanks to all.Re: Water pump not operatingOld-Biscuit, neither husband nor I feel comfortable disassembling things. Wish we did. May nee to wait until we get to,our destination and seek professional help. Thanks for your input.Re: LouisvilleNo, I meant 3. Great road. The darn bridge construction has been a real problem and obviously will continue to be. Thanks for the feedback.LouisvilleHeaded south this week. Taking 3 thru most of Indiana to avoid I-69 & I-65. Sadly we need to get back on that awful I-65 at Seymour. Friends who traveled it a couple weeks ago said its disasterous on a motorhome but no choice. We usually try to go thru Louisville on a weekend but are unable to do so this time. There is the question; by-pass around Louisville or continue to go straight thru? Thanks in advance.
