All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Looking for dog friendly park in Yuma, AZWe spent January at Cocopah Bend RV & Golf resort. Dog park is almost 3 acres, and even though it isn’t fenced everyone lets their well mannered dogs off leash to play. Our dogs absolutely loved it, best experience we’ve had so far. Flanked by cauliflower fields and the golf course, it is outside of town on the north west side. Very quiet, all kinds of activities and everyone was so friendly. The rv sites are gravel with a concrete patio. We had plenty of room to park our dually in our site, and still have room to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Unfortunately I was not able to fix my slice.Re: frame-less windowI had a window blow out. One of the suggestions I received was to use the door edge guard you can find in hardware stores. Unless you wrap the edges of the window with 3M, you are not covering the area that will be impacted by a rock on the interstate.Re: Actual Weight For 2013 Ram dually 6.7'15 Megacab dually, with power steps, tonneau cover, linex, hitch, stone guard, 50 gallon auxiliary tank (Full), two labs (75 and 55lb) and two adults (185 and 115 lb) puts us right at 10,000.Re: Whats Your Real Weights? I would like a bit more weight on the steer axle, but it tows so nicely now, and can turn sharper than I am willing to twist the axles with side stress. If truck didn't have auto levelling maybe it would be an issue?Re: Young FW full timer needs a new rig 4 months out steadypraying4 wrote: . I do believe the electric is working, but it seems to have quite poor performance. I will check to make sure I am not getting cold mixed in with the hot, and go from there. I appreciate the feedback regarding the on demand unit, don't want to spend the money if it is a waste.Replace suburban SW12DE with Atwood On Demand?Hello all, We are finding the water heater in our new coach leaves a bit to be desired. We prefer longer showers, and the recovery rate does not permit this. Our old trailer if you had both power and gas heaters on, provided an ample source of hot water and fast recovery when you did run out. Perhaps I am missing something here, but I have the gas heater on, as well as the electric and even a relatively quick shower exhausts the hot water supply. So we are considering replacing the hot water tank with an Atwood on demand heater. Interested to hear pros and cons, or different ideas all together. Thanks in advance. We camp almost exclusively in full service sites. Overnight in walmart a few times a year. No boondocking, no kids.Re: Whats Your Real Weights? Truck and Trailer. Can't wait.
