I will assume it has a hydroboost system and MC should be up front on the firewall. That would be my guesstimetRe: Newmar question Bounder Billy wrote: We did the Newmar factory tour last year and there is only one production line where they build everything from the King Aire to the smallest gas model. The difference is the parts which go in at each workstation, but they are installed by the same people. As on all model ranges the fix and fittings are different for each model line, but the quality of build with the Newmar is the same for all models. Very impressive factory tour. They were building an Essex, Dutch Star, Bay Star some Ventanas, and one of their last fifth wheels when we were there. My DW says our next motorhome will be a Newmar and I agree. Newmar make a decent unit no doubt about that but personally I would buy a Entegra as my next unit based on quality of build, construction style and options offered for the buck that it cost.BIG price difference.Re: Newmar question Tom/Barb wrote: coolcity wrote: Tom/Barb wrote: They are all made from the quality materials, it is a matter of features/appliances/and size. your trying to tell me that a 43 dutchstar is built identical in every respect to a 43 mountain aire with the exception of features+appliances?? There is a price difference of like 100K or more.I would have to say that there has to be some difference in quality and construction methods etc order 1 each and compare for your self. :) or do the factory tour, you will see there isn't much difference, in materials or craftsmen ship. there has to be other wise why would u buy a MA over a KS There must be some rather major differences.Re: Newmar question Tom/Barb wrote: They are all made from the quality materials, it is a matter of features/appliances/and size. your trying to tell me that a 43 dutchstar is built identical in every respect to a 43 mountain aire with the exception of features+appliances?? If I mount the inverter in an aft basement locker, hook it to the batteries, turn off the converter and plug in the 30A shore line I should be good to go without damaging anything – Right? Like other,s here have posted I dont get where your coming from? why would you plug into 30 amp service If your trying to run off the inverter? and if your pluged in why would u turn off the conveter?Re: No 12 Volt! If the relay was dead why does it work properly while in the inverter mode? (what OP claims) I think he meant that 110 volts was running, hence his batteries were ok, BUT, his 12 volt systems were dead. This really points to the salesman solenoid. you Could be correct Thats not how I read it.Funny OP does not clarify after reading the posts here OP quote: did shut off shore power and switched on the inverter, and things lit up just like they're supposed to, so we must have 12v power. The House Battery gauge shows over 13v in the house batteries. to me it sounds like the lites are working this way hence 12v is working also
