It also has dark windows all around. This cap works perfect for us as we store our bikes upright . We will buy one again when we replace this truck. No Reservations? We have camped for years without reservations in the summer but I wonder what kind of luck I would have trying that now. What's your experience? We can camp during the week.Re: we are so excitedGood for you! Hope your first retired trip is safe and memorable. We are concerned about the route from Indianapolis 70-I55-I57to I40 through Arkansas and Misouri and Westward. Advice about traveling through there tomorrow or Wednesday? Should we avoid it and try St. Louis to 44 south? Is there a interstate flood advisory site to check?Re: Exit Now Interstate Exit DirectoryGood Sam Please put out another Exit Now book! I will show it to everyone and recommend it.Re: Campgrounds in or around St. Louis MOI know there are sites for big rvs with electric but they were all taken and we had to take the only site left. The road leading up to the campground from the office area is steep and narrow. Sometimes you have to stay in an area that you could not plan in advance. We were lucky to get a site and that was due to the kindness of the camp office attendants.Re: Mi. To San Diego and backHave taken both routes from/to MI many times. The post about the winds is something you need to build time for in case you have to wait out the storm. We take 5-7 days to get to Phoenix to give you an idea. To San Diego is another days drive. I don't know where you are in MI but we like traveling I69 to 70 then 57 to 55 to I40. It is usually a nice peaceful route. I sent you a private message of campgrounds we like on your southern route.
