Grit dog Without a TPMS, most of this conversation doesn’t apply to me. Plus I have been away for a little bit. I’m just as confused as when I started. However, buying a crossfire with a little less pressure does seem to make sense. I just don’t know if I should get 65, 70, 75, or 80psi. I’m leaning towards 70psi cold. I’m also concerned that Kaytag1 had a slow leak and the crossfire didn’t isolate the bad tire. If I recall on a slow leak it should isolate at 5psi drop and a quick drop at 10psi. On the other hand this is the first I’m hearing of the crossfire failing. I can’t thank you all enough for responding. Thanks for your time and expressing your experiences.Tire pressure / dually / TCRAM 3500 dually that will soon have a TC on it. It's a question of what should the rear tire pressure be and I'm wondering what you run your dually at. The camper should be around 4-5k pounds. I'm planning to install Crossfire Equalization and need a number...psi. RAM said 65 psi Tire manufacture,Nexen Roadian, said 80 psi Both said 80 psi for the front. Who's correct?Re: TC / airbag suspensionWOW, thank you all for your input. I really do appreciate it and it sounds like I came to the right place. My takeaway is buy the camper, put it on the truck and see how it sits or if it's leaning right or left. Take it on a short trip and see how it rides. Sound about right? Thank you all again.TC / airbag suspensionAirbags or no airbags? Have you driven a truck with a camper that had airbag suspension and or no airbag suspension. What is your experience? We have a 2016 RAM 3500 Cummins dually crew cab 8' bed and we're buying our first truck camper this year. Unfortunately it doesn't have an airbag suspension. What some are telling me is our truck will be fine and it can handle the weight no problem, yet others agree but state when it comes to wind the airbags help a lot to keep the truck stable or feel less rocking or sway. Your thoughts?
