I'd like to be able to put it on and off as needed based on the weather.5th wheel vs. motorhomeWe currently have a 30ft. 5th wheel which we pull with a Chevy 3500 crew cab, long bed, Duramax PU. Lately I've noticed alot of MH/toad combinations at campgrounds and started wondering what are the pros and cons of each set-up. Some of you, I'm sure, have had a MH and toad at sometime and now have a 5er/TV. I'm interested in your opinions. I posed this question on the MH forum and naturally got an overwhelming response in favor of the MH/toad combo. How about here?class A vs. 5th wheelWe currently have a 30ft. 5th wheel which we pull with a Chevy 3500 SRW, Duramax. This weekend we went to an RV show and a 33ft class A Alegro caught my eye. My question for those of you who have had both is, how does the MH compare with the 5er in terms of driving/hauling? We would pull a small car, probably a jeep wrangler. My only complaint about the 5th wheel is the boucing and banging on rough roads. My wife likes the idea of being able to go back into the MH while in route. Any thoughts on pros and cons would be appreciated.Re: how to bring the atv alongThanks for the input everyone. 57 Panhead: so many toys, so little time.how to bring the atv alongI recently purchaced a new 2015 5th wheel and since then have become interested in hauling along an atv on trips. I don't want to trade in the 5er already on a toy hauler since I just got it. Any ideas on how to bring alone an atv short of getting a toy hauler? Thanks.
