We ran into construction going up Vail Pass in the summer, and came very close to over heating due to start and stop traffic. I am looking for assistance with route planning. We will be going to Glacier NP, staying at St. Mary's campground and then continuing on to Coeur d'Alene. I am guessing the best thing to do would be to come back down us 89 to I-90 via us 200. Is this the best route? We will be going in mid June with a 27 foot Travel Trailer. I need some advice. I have de-winterized my trailer and I have used it on a couple of trips this spring. Naturally, the weather has decided to turn cold again. The overnight low on Thursday is forecast for 32 and 30 for the overnight low on Friday. Last time we camped I emptied the fresh water tank and opened the low point drains for the drive home. Am I in any danger of damaging my plumbing and what steps should I follow to minimize the risks of damage?
