We are at the KOA in Caddo Mills. While in San Antonio be sure to spend some time on the Riverwalk. There are some good restaurants down there and the scenery is beautiful. Depending on your tastes there are numerous missions in the area that are worth stopping by. You will be driving through Austin on the way to San Antonio and there are a few things in the area there that might be worth seeing. Hope you enjoy your visit.Re: Arkansas State Park recommendations and things to see garmp1 wrote: We plan on passing through the Hot Springs area on our way to San Antonio, from St Louis. Do you plan on making your trip in one day or stop along the way? If stopping, where do you prefer? And other than the Alamo and River Walk, what do you suggest we see? Thanks Re: Arkansas State Park recommendations and things to seeThanks so much for the responses. This is a great resource for information.Arkansas State Park recommendations and things to seeWe will be with family for about a week in the Hot Springs area and then wife and I will spend another couple of weeks hanging out most likely in Arkansas. We are from San Antonio and we generally like State or National Parks with lots of trees and hiking trails, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to stay and things to see while there? We are camping in a 30 foot Airstream travel trailer.Black Stone Trailer Anyone? We are thinking of getting rid of our 30 foot Airstream and purchasing a Black Stone Travel Trailer made by Outdoors RV. We are wanting a true 4 season trailer with a couple of slides because we camp with our grandkids and need more room. Our problem is that there are no dealers that sell these trailers east of California or Utah. We would like to be able to see one in order to get a feel for the quality etc. We live in Central Texas and in September we will be heading north or east for a 2 week trip in our Airstream, and if anyone has a Black Stone that we could see we would really appreciate it. If that won't work, at least tell us where you bought yours, and how you like it. We are thinking about the 280RKSB. Thanks
