I discovered the Onan 5500 in my MH wont start recently. the fuel pump is not getting any power to it. I checked the fuse, its good, I have to assume its either the fuel pump relay or the control board has gone bad. has anyone else here run into this ? ive been looking online for a part# & price for the relay . but cannot find.1.2KViews0likes4CommentsOnan marquis 5000
We have a 96 Bounder. Recently the genie wouldn't start. When you try to start it , it trips the battery disconnect. then of course the lights, water pump etc don't work. reset the battery disconnect, everything works again, until you try to start the genie. if you use the start button on the genie, it does the same thing. you can hear a click in the panel. anyone have an idea whats going on ? We are in the market for our first toad. Our MH is rated to tow 3500 lbs., so id like to stay below that. We would buy used . The Focus is an option , but its a bit smaller than Id like . The Malibu seems like a good fit, but ive read that even though they say they are towable, there have been many transmission failures in the 2010 & up malibus & some oither GM cars due to towing. RV2GO said basically what I was going to say. The STL RV park is close by, but I wouldn't recommend walking, as its not exactly a low crime area, but the park itself seems to be safe. The Casino Queen RV park is in E.STL,Ill, also a high crime area, however, it is secure & there is a shuttle to the metro link nearby.
