Fresh Water Inlet Squirts Back
When I fill my empty fresh water tank using the 1 1/4" open port (not city water) I push my hose end in a little. Lately, after about 2 minutes, water comes gushing out, pushing out the hose. Water also comes out the small air vent hose opening. I can then put in more water for about 30 seconds. Then it happens again. If I turn the sillcock down considerable so water trickles in, then I'm OK. I replaced the 1 1/4" ribbed hose but that didn't help. I noticed the 1/2" air vent hose has a low spot in it's travel trapping water. Could the lack of an open air flow there be the cause of my problem? If not, what?638Views0likes3Comments
