LOL... but first I want to thank you ALL for your input and help getting these problems fixed... All is working now... I first was not able to get power to my cabin, even though I ran the generator, but that turned out to be a user error on my part. I didn't have the power line plugged into the power receptacle that is in the power cord compartment. It must be plugged into that socket in my unit to use generator power rather than land line power.. Second, in my unit, you MUST have at least 1/2 tank full of gas to run the generator. In some you only need a 1/4 tank of gas, but in mine you need 1/2 tank to run the generator. I like that since you will not get stranded in the boondocks because you didn't have enough gas to make it into town for refill your tank. So, everything is working as hoped and again if it wasn't for this amazingly friendly, helpful site, I would be lost in RV space. Thank you all so much for being here and helping RV newbies like me fix stupid user errors. LOL Wishing everyone Happy RVing. DennisRe: Small Leak Caused Wallpaper To Warp & BuckleUpdate --- Update --- Update --- Update --- Update --- Update Well, I found the leak and used the proper sealant to fix it. As for the wallpaper, I didn't have to do much since after it dried, it didn't show much buckling. I did use glue and dabbed some behind the WP and it seems to have stuck to the wall. Because of the nature of the Wall Paper, it doesn't show that there was a leak, so I am just going to let it alone... Oh, and I did try to iron the waves and buckling of the Wall Paper with an Iron on very low heat, but it didn't do anything... so it was a bust. But worth a try. Thank you EVERYONE here at AV.NET for being so helpful. I love this place and hope I am able to help someone else who stumbles onto this thread. You have not only helped me, but others who find this thread. Take care and Happy RVing. If it is and still no power, then open the box and make sure all wires are connected to the receptacle,I had this problem once on my last RV and one of the wires had come loose. Well, I checked the box and sure enough, it wasn't plugged in... I am unable at this point to start the generator, even though it ran a couple of days ago. My mechanic thinks it may be a fowled plug, so we are going to pull the generator and replace the plug to see if that is what is wrong.. then I will check to see if I do finally get power to the cabin. Thanks for the help everyone. I will come back and update after I get the generator running... Thanks, DennisRe: Generator doesn't supply power to air, microwave, in cabin pconroy328 wrote: +4 - open up the little door where your big electrical power cord is stored and look up or look around. There will be an electrical outlet in there. Plug the cord into the outlet and voila' - you'll have power to the coach. Oh for heavens sake, can it really be that easy? I do remember that there is a plug in that compartment, and I will check that out next time I go to the MH. My generator looks like it needs a new spark plug, because it ran the other day, but not it will not run, it only sputters which makes me think I need to change the plug. I will come back and let you know if that is the problem with powering the coach. I bet that is what the problem is... if so, I am going to be one red face RV owner.. Thanks, DennisGenerator doesn't supply power to air, microwave, in cabinHello, I have an interesting problem. I have a 1995 Class C Jamboree Rallye which has a 4K Onan generator. The generator runs fine, but it doesn't supply power to the cabin inside the MH. It should run the air conditioner, microwave and refrigerator but it doesn't. When I plug into land power, all works fine. Any ideas what is happening here? Is there some fuse I am not aware of or is there a connection from the generator to the cabin that may have come loose? Is there a switch on the power converter, wherever that is, that needs to be tripped or re-tripped? How do I trouble-shoot this? Any help is appreciated... and thank you. DennisRe: Does 95 Fleetwood Jamboree Rallye have Electric Fnt Brakes?UPDATE:.....UPDATE:.....UPDATE:.....UPDATE:.....UPDATE:.....UPDATE:.. First I want to thank EVERYONE who has replied to and helped me with my brake problem. I have an auto mechanic friend who came out to look at the my Motor Home and it turned out the my driver side disk brake pad had a rock that somehow had gotten lodged between the rotor and pad which caused it to drag and gouge the rotor. I also found that on the passenger side the rotor had a crack in it so I have decided to replace both rotors, pads and if the calipers need replacing, do them also. I plan on selling my Motor Home this spring and downsize since for me I don't really need this big of a rig. I want a clear conscience that whomever buys my rig, it getting a safe and usable Motor Home. I have enjoyed my 29' but it really needs a family and not one person like myself. I plan on buying a smaller trailer and pull it with my car. That is really all I need at this point in my life. I cannot say enough, how much I have appreciated the feedback and help I have received on this issue. Seriously. For anyone else who may be having problems with their brakes seizing up, look for a possible rock between the pads and rotor. DennisRe: Does 95 Fleetwood Jamboree Rallye have Electric Fnt Brakes? As I mentioned in my first post.. I have a 1995 Fleetwood Jamboree Rallye 29 ft MH. It has a Ford 460, E300 chassis. I found out that I need to replace the passenger side front rotor on my MH. Can I get a standard E300 chassis disk brake rotor as a replacement or do I need to get a rotor specifically made for my motorhome?
