so worse case scenario...what happens if I can only plug into a 30a plug? Am I just limited as to what I can turn on at one time? Really appreciate all the info, this all has been very helpful to us RV virgins!

This is a private site, with one pole and 4 - 30 amp plugs. We will be the only camper plugged in. Owner states" just need to put bigger wiring to make it 50 amp"....but he is honesty quite old...lol so going to have an electrician look at it...

I understand now, and no don't think the cheater plug will work, cus yes the 30 amp plugs both come from same source. Going to have an electrician look at changing plug from 30 to a 50....or I guess according to the RV salesman, just not ever run both a/c 's at the same time..?...hmmm

I see....the power pole that the 30 amp plugs come off of, ( and there is actually 4- 30 amp plugs in total) the box says " general duty, 200 amp 240 V.AC MAX HP 50 " if that helps any.....i don't understand the boat comment

using a 30 amp splitter
We are looking at a site that has 2 - 30 amp outlets. Am I ok using a 30 amp splitter to get 50 amp? I find a plug for $65 on eBay that has 2 male 30 amp plugs on one end and female 50 amp plug on the other end. We have cyclone 4100 toy hauler....thx
