After looking around and checking pricing we ended up driving from Ontario to Wisconsin to buy ours from Horn's RV and save thousands even with exchange and taxes. We tried to make a deal with a local dealer but couldn't come close to Horn's price. We are loving it. Have fun and good luck. What water softener do you have ?We are staying in AZ this winter and find the water here very hard. What kind of water softeners are people using. Thanks for your help.Re: Travel in TexasThank you for all your help. We are in San Marcos now and heading to Arizona in the morning.Travel in TexasWe are about to leave San Marcos heading west and it was suggested that we take route 46 from New Braunfels to Boerne has anyone taken this route and how is the travel? ThanksRe: stopped up sinkWe know the black tank valve is for the black tank because when we pull it you can see what is coming out through the clear elbow in the line. Everything has worked well all the other times we have used the trailer. If it happens again we will pull the black tank and see if that works again. Let's hope we don't have the problem again. Thanks for you help.Re: stopped up sinkMy husband just emptied the black tank and the drain drained. Could there have been some type of air lock between the two tanks? No other gray drains were stopped up just the kitchen. Weird I'd say. Thanks for the help.Re: stopped up sinkOK we now have a problem with our kitchen sink draining. We have a 2015 KZ Durango 276BH and have used it for 4 weeks during the summer with no problem and all of a sudden today it won't drain. We have checked and done everything you folks have suggested in the above post with no luck. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help you can give.Re: Thoughts on KZ Durango 296bh (2015 leftover)My only complaint is that our window blinds won't slide under the side decorative covers. We find that with the TV on a wall mount you can pull it out for easier viewing, unlike other trailers we have owned. Oh the luxuries we give up to spend time with our grandkids, worth every minute.Re: Thoughts on KZ Durango 296bh (2015 leftover)We sold our 40' Cardinal with all the bells and whistles for this same model(late 2015)in the spring of this year and have loved it so far. We wanted the extra bed and bath to camp with the grandkids. Our model has the kitchen reversed, stairs on other side with extra door from the bath into the bedroom the one you have shown is an earlier 2015 model. So far so good the only thing we miss is our lazy boy chairs.Re: Advice when you can't find model you are looking for locallyWe traveled 13 hours to buy our KZ Durango from Ontario to Sheboygan, WI at Horn's RV. Their pricing was the best around and even factoring in a 24% exchange rate, CND to US dollars we still managed to save over $4000. for the unit we purchased. Very nice people to deal with. Check out their website. Good luck.
