Great memories.Re: Another Mile, Another DayWe follow the rule of 3,s. 300 miles or 3:00 pm whichever comes first. 3 cocktails, 1 for her and 2 for me.Re: trouble with on board onanHad the same problem. A wasp had built a nest in the propane vent hose that comes off the carburetor. They are attracted to the smell of propane. Cleaned out the hose and it started right up. I put a screen over the end of the vent hose and no more problems.Re: Our Camping History 1963 to 1975Wow brings back so many memories of growing up in Utah. My Dad didn't have a camper, we just camped out. Its too bad todays youth can't enjoy what we had when we were young. Thanks for bringing back the memories.Re: Texas to Las VegasHave pulled a 35 foot fiver on 60 and 93. No problem, both are good roads.Re: mice in 5th wheel!"Fresh Cab" works very well, I use it in RV, summer cabin, boat and antique cars. Keeps mice out. Can buy it online. Also try "Bar Bait". It works better than decon. It is sold in farm stores, etc.Re: Time for new tires - HelpI have been using LT's on our trailer for 12 years. It came with the LT's on it. Had several blowouts with the original Goodyear Wranglers. After replacing several using the Wrangler's I switched to Michelin MX2 in LT's and haven't had a single problem in over 30,000 miles.Re: Are we just Too Picky!!Like you, we wanted theater seating directly across from the TV with a kitchen with lots of counter space and storage. It also could not be longer than 38'0. We found it in the Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. Overall length (back of ladder to tip of front cap is 37'-3). It has a 39" flat screen TV across from plush theater seats. Kitchen has plenty of counter space with the hutch and island sink. Full size pantry and two slide out pantries provide more than enough storage space. Take a look at it online and I think you will fall in love with it as we did. Priced around $46,000.Re: Another tire question, do you rotate them? When I re-pack the wheel bearings annually, the tires come off to do this so I rotate them. Can't hurt and only takes a minute to roll the tires to the other side before putting them on.Re: seeking advice/opinions for next 5rUse the internet to look at different floor plans, etc. That's what we did for over 6 months. Do this to make a short list of one's you like and then start calling dealers or going to RV shows to make your final decision. Good luck on your search.
