i "think" the fuse box is under the good. a "blown" fuse should show discolor correct? also, can the lighter be removed by "pulling" it from the dash? i was wondering if when you twisted, there was a point that it could be "popped" out.352Views0likes0Commentsdutchman express (chevy) cigarette lighter doesn't work
the driver side cigarette lighter doesn't work. the "lighter" turns in the hole that it's supposed to be seated it. I can only assume that something happened when something didn't want to come out of the hole. anyway, it doesn't work. for the mechanically impaired, what should i do? It looks like the plug can be twisted and maybe pulled out. seems to be a knotch that i can turn it to and it gives a little more. it may take plyers for a better grip. would removing the plug even be usefull? a wire could be off or even a fuse blown. not sure where to even start. any ideas appreciated. i do not want to get into removing the dash section. that looks a little painful. jeff4KViews0likes8Commentsrenting car in yellowstone area
i know somebody has done this before so i thought i'd ask an experienced person. next june we are going to be camping 1st in yellowstone at Fishing Bridge and then we are heading down to the grand tetons to stay at colter bay. we are staying 3 nights at each place. we are planning on renting a car/van to drive around the park in and leave the rv parked. we are coming from illinois. for ease of pick up/drop off of car, where should i be looking at renting from? thanks, jeff2KViews0likes8Commentsradio antena for 2008 dutchman express chevy vortec chassis
i broke the radio antena off of our rv. it's one of the shorter black ones. i went to auto parts store and i couldn't find a "universal" that would fit. this is my machine BiPAP® Pro Bi-level System with Bi-Flex http://bipappro.respironics.com/ for 1 night, would i be good with a harbor freight 5 in 1 power pack? duracel also makes one. http://www.harborfreight.com/5-in-1-portable-power-pack-96157.html i figure it will be used in case we stop at a walmart along the road. it can be charged the next day cruising down the road. would a portable battery be ok to use indoors and would it work?? My marine battery is toward the front of my class c. we have a class c. i was wanting something that could charge during the day going down the road and be used only 1 night at a time. honestly, it would be used for the times we are travelling a couple days to our destination. i'd like to just be able to pull over and sleep at a walmart. our marine battery is a little hard to get to to run an inverter. i really don't want to have to try to figure out where to put a second marine battery. I have a bi-pap machine. i'm trying to figure out a cheap/easy way to power it thru the night when travelling on the road. i don't think i want to do the extra marine battery and use an invertor or use an invertor on any of my current batteries. so, i was wondering if anyone has used some sort of portable power supply. at harbor freight, it looks like i can get something that provides some sort of power for $75. i know if you buy a regular cpap battery, it's several hundred dollars. i'm hoping that somebody has had good results with something much cheaper. I found a duracell battery pack for about 150. I don't want to run an extra generator or a marine battery. I want one I can carry with me...it might be handy in the house to.8.8KViews0likes17Comments
