Second, a FICM module has nothing at all to do with the type of fuel you use. Third, the turbo doesn't have anything to do with it either. Finally, We burn the bio-diesel in dozens of different engines on the farm that were manufactured over several different decades. No problem. However !! It doesn't hurt to carry a jug of additive that kills fungus and put the right amount of ounces in your tank now and then. When on the road you don't know what sort of care the different filling stations are doing to there holding tanks. A few ounces of additive can save you trouble from poorly managed filling stations. Yes I know the FICM wasn't related to the other issues and the turbo only slightly so. Out here in the west, the $$$ I spent was reasonable. Especially compared to dealer prices. I guess some of you don't notice the labels on the pumps but unfortunately my engine wasn't designed for B20 and I see a lot of labels on pumps saying B20. Take a look at the 6.7 badge, it says B20 on it. That's the difference in having a 13 year old truck. And I do carry additive. How do you avoid Bio Diesel (over B5) while on the road? After spending $4k on injectors, a new turbo and FICM module this winter, I'd like to learn how to avoid the stations on the highway that sell that B20 ****. Filled my nearly empty truck for under $50.Re: Microsoft S & T 2013 no construction updates?I have the same issue and suspect that due to Microsoft discontinuing S&T there will be no more updates.Re: Arrrghhh! MICE!Just caught Mickey with the original Victor mouse trap. Unfortunately, Minnie has just shown her face. So hopefully we'll get them all. DW hates mice and will jump a mile if she sees one. We're on a camping trip and this is ruining it a bit.Re: GPS MTPockets1 wrote: We had the Rand McNally, functions were OK but unit quality was horrible. Locking up, screen brightness, short battery life, and after the 2nd unit (camping world replaced first unit) Rand phone service was terrible... We now have the Garmin RV760, great unit, quality, and American made with American service. As far as the RV features vs driving without the trailer, simply switch it to car mode and it will ignore the RV settings. I recommend the Garmin . I recommend the Garmin too. However, it is made in Taiwan which doesn't quite qualify as American built :)Re: Help with water supply issue from fresh water tank newman fulltimer wrote: take air and back blow into the tank through the suction line see if it blows freely into the tank That was my thought too but was beat to it by a few minutes.Re: 5th Wheel landing gearIf your Jayco is like mine you have a separate 12v wire and fuse that feeds the landing gear from the battery. I had blown that fuse and experienced the same symptoms. That's the first place I'd check. Use a meter, don't trust looking at a fuse. Or replace it with a known good one and see if that solves the problem.Re: Any Pilgrim Owners with manuals??I had a Pilgrim TT and the manual wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. Pretty much like any manufacturer. As Donn0128 says, not worth the effort.
