I went thru the same process you're going thru. I was going to rent to make one last trip up to New England. After seeing what the cost and restrictions would be, I searched a few months and found exactly what I wanted about 100 miles from home thru Craigs List. I saw a lot of 'junk" and was going to give up on looking when the DW showed me this one. We bought it right then. Since then we've made our 'Big Trip' to Rushmore, Yellowstone, into Montana then down to SLC, finally to The balloon fiesta in ALB. It ran flawlessly! 2-300 miles per day. The initial cost of rental isn't bad,, but it's the extras that add up. Good luck in whatever you decide. DanRe: Rottweilers and RV'sWe traveled for a month with our Rottie. We never made reservations, but checked with the camping directory for restrictions, If there were none, we didn't volunteer. We were never turned away and in many cases I would take her with me when I registered so there would be no surprises later. the only problem we have with her is she's too darn friendly and loves kids. We've been to just about every part of the country and have never been turned away. Good luck and you'll be a Rottie lover for life, guaranteed.Re: Picture of camping tripOne of 3 great COE parks in the area. Around Lake Uufalla al like al COE around here, the lots are LARGE and well maintainedRe: Disabled Parking PermitsI bowl on a seniors league during the day....I have to laugh watching the old folks grab the handicap spots.. some corvettes, some miatas. I couldn't find any that were blown..I decided not to chance driving it 15 miles, So CN sent a wrecker service that i was familiar with. It was funny, when the driver got here, he called his dispatcher, I heard her say "Thank goodness, Coachnet is driving me nuts wanting to know if you had arrived yet' We ended up driving to NC in the van and boarding the dog with our vet. So far all is good. Til they tell me what's wrong. The saga continues. Thanks again for wanting to help.Re: no instruments on my 2002 fourwinds ChateauSorry, I thought I was in Class C forumno instruments on my 2002 fourwinds ChateauHelp! was loaded and getting ready to head for my DGDS's Graduation in NC when i Noticed to Instruments work working..I stopped before i got out of the drive ...My Scan gauge seems to have been working but nothing else...Thecked the fuses that I could see under the dash , none blown that i could see.
