Which RV Deep Cycle Batteries To Buy?
Need to start looking to purchase two 12V Deep Cycle batteries for the 5th wheel. Which batteries are good and which ones should I stay away from. How is Duralast from auto Zone? Does anyone use those? Or how is Dura Cell are they any good? How about Autocraft from Advanced Auto Parts? Any help would be appreciated.11KViews0likes32CommentsMichelin Tire Question
Does anyone have the Michelin LT 235 80 R17 Energy Saver Tires on their tow vehicle?? Would like to know if you are happy with the performance of these tires?? Does anyone know what the side wall thickness of these Goodyear LT235/85 R16 G614 rated tires are. I scraped a rock wall and have three surface cuts less than an 1/8" Deep X 3/4" inch long on one tire. I don't think they look like they will be a problem. The tire is not loosing any air. These tires are only 3yrs old and only have about 12K miles on them. They still look like new since I keep them covered when not in use. I was wondering if a couple of little 1/8"DEEP X 1/2' long cuts would weaken the structure of the tire since I don't know how thick the tires are to begin with. I really don't know much about tires and hope there is someone out there that does and can help with a decision on weather to replace the tire or can I live with it for a couple of years?? We will be going to Cooperstown, NY from Poughkeepsie, NY. We will be driving a 40 FT fifth wheel with 13'3" in height. Can we take I-87 to 23 to I-88. Or 23 to 145 then onto I-88 South??? Have a Generac IX 2000 Inverter generator that runs well and only has about 25 hours on the unit. It is 2 1/2 years old so it is out of warranty. The problem is it runs OK but I am getting a red overload light and no power. Anyone have any ideas of what the problem might be?? I think there may be debris in my Flojet water pump because it keeps running and pumps very little water. There is no screen on this pump and all connections are tight. It is a Flojet Model #03526-144. Could it also be the pressure switch? How is that determined? Has anyone done this?? If so how is it done? Any Help would be appreciated.3.1KViews0likes11Comments
