These are also available at some of the "big-box" hardware stores, Tractor Supply, etc. https://www.bulletproofhitches.com/products/5-8-channel-shackle-for-safety-chains?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-IOOxpL24QIVR77ACh2s2AMmEAQYAiABEgKEJ_D_BwERe: Converter Failure... again! azrving wrote: Is it an WFCO? That may be fine if you want to keep giving money to world friendship. The other bad thing is that they are not heavy enough to be boat anchors. If you want something better maybe try a Progressive Dynamics. Best to check to be sure everything else is ok. Maybe the dealership didn't really replace it. Yes.... WFCO!Re: Converter Failure... again!Thank you all for the responses! Much to ponder. Best wishes to all of you.Converter Failure... again!Last year (summer of 2017) the converter in my travel trailer (2015 Crossroads Zinger) stopped working. Took it in and had it replaced under warranty. Two days ago, it stopped working again. Help!! What is the primary cause of converter failure?Re: Battery Charging QuestionThanks!! You guys are great!!! Happy Trails.:)Battery Charging QuestionMy battery is not charging while hooked up to shore power. When I turn on anything which runs off the battery, I do not hear the cooling fan turn on, so I suspect that the converter has stopped working. I plan to take it in under warranty, but have one more short trip planned. Shore power will be available, but I will need to use some things that are usually powered by the battery. I have a battery charger, so my question is; can I connect the charger to the battery while still using things that are powered by the battery, such as the thermostat for heat, etc. Thanks in advance for your response.Re: Please do not walk on sand dunesAfter reading through the posts, I finally figured out what the 'Sand-Dunes' are for. I had no clue what the OP was talking about, because I've never been anywhere near these 'dunes'. Glad I waited about asking as it appears I would have been scolded otherwise.Re: New Vietnam memorial in ChicagoWelcome Home BrothersRe: Weight distribution hitchI have an F350, but still use my WD hitch for its sway control capabilities. Yes, the truck has 'trailer-sway-control' but that kicks in once sway has started. I just feel better being able to prevent it in the first place. I truly appreciated it when I got caught on the Interstate with 70 mph cross winds. To each his own.Re: No Sign In Link..? reppoc12 wrote: Have you followed the link for "RV and Outdoor Gear"?
