Sitting low on charge battery will start sulfating and permanently lose capacity. Have it checked if charging does not help. Time2roll I have a feeling that is what has happened, tried to charge it and wouldn't take a full charge.Re: Chassis battery ItsyRV wrote: If it just clicks but doesn't turn over the starter, probably a battery that has bit the dust. Has the RV been sitting unused for awhile? Yes ItsyRV due to the country being shut down it has been setting for quite some time . I have started it every couple of months but have had to use the house batteries to get it started each time.Chassis batteryHaving problems starting 2017 Minnie Winne mh. Was able to get the engine started using the house batteries switch and chassis battery reads 14.5 while running. Let it run for awhile then shut the engine off but wont restart using just chassis battery. Is it possible the battery is not strong enough ?Re: Long term parkingThank you for the replies, parking on gravel with good drainage sounds like it would be the best. I have lots of road gravel so that will be the route I will use this winter. Have good Holidays. RichLong term parkingWinter is just around the corner, time to put the MH away for a few months. Was wondering what is the best material to have under the tires while it just sits. I have used cement, wood, gravel and who knows what and I'm not sure what is the best for the rubber. What does the majority place under their tires? How do class c owners get up there to apply the wax and buff it off. RichRe: Downsizing from a Class A tommy salmon wrote: Seriously looking at downsizing from our Winnebago Class A to a Class C. We are happy with the quality and support of the Winnebago, just not the size, so we are predisposed towards Winnebago products, specifically the Winnie Mini 22M. Looking for less than 30 feet. Been there done that, went from a 31 ft class A sea Breeze to a 27 ft Minnie Winnie and have been sorry every day since. It's surprising how much difference that 4 ft makes and the amount of storage you loose underneath. If I had to do it over it would never have happened, be sure that's really what you want to do. RichRe: Bridge and Tunnel RestrictionsWhy did I even bother to ask, all I ever get is a bunch of you know what. If I had a truckers atlas I wouldn't have asked for assistance. Thanks for nothingapache junction to lordsburg NMtrying to figure out the route from Apache junction,AZ to Lordsburg,NM. If I read correctly I just stay on the road called Apache trail and head East. Is this correct and are there signs telling me where to turn, dont want to get lost in no where land. Thank you Rich
