It fits like a glove and will stand the test of time even during our AZ weather; sun, wind, rain, monsoon, etc.Re: LANCE TRAILER COVERThanks for the input. We decided on CalMark (Sumbrella). We researched and considered Covercraft, CalMark (Sunbrella, and Evelle Goldline. We ordered the Goldline because of the superior reviews but after 2 attempts at getting a cover to fit half-way decent, we are now sending the second cover back and searching again. It's not a 100% custom cover so the rounded front of the Lance causes the typically "square" cover not to fit right. It's very sloppy and the front upper "corners" of the cover are halfway down the front of the trailer. It blows up like a balloon during even moderate wind. I guess Anyone have a recommendation for a decent well-fitting cover for a Lance? Thanks.Re: Lance 1985 or 1995 use with slide in?We just bought a new 2017 Lance 1985 after selling our 5er; we’ve been full-timing for 10 years and recently bought a small home-base in AZ. The dealer had both the 1985 and the 1995 on the lot. We liked the 1985 better for a number of reasons, but this one had everything on our list (roadster interior, sofa option, etc.) and didn’t have the extra options we don’t care about (back-up camera, pull-out storage tray, keyless entry). We can both get into the fridge and into the bathroom with the slide in; we are not large people-me 5’6” 125, him 5’10” 190. It might be difficult for large or heavier folks. We paid $32,513 INCLUDING dealer prep - 2 batteries, orientation, detail, 3 full tanks propane - AND title-registration. AZ sales tax extra ($2500). GREAT DEAL at Tom’s Camperland Mesa AZ. Can’t wait to head out on our first trip.Re: BEST PLACE TO SELL RV?Thanks for weighing in everyone. I've always had good luck with Craigslist--have sold thousands of dollars worth of stuff there in the past. So I put it on CL and RVT; good photos, long and thorough description, priced a little higher than my bottom line. Sold in 2 days close to asking price. On to the next adventure!Re: BEST PLACE TO SELL RV?Thanks for all the great advice!BEST PLACE TO SELL RV?What is the best online classified site to advertise our rig for sale? Assume snowbird season down here in Arizona is a great time and we're done full-timing. ThanksRe: CRACKS ON INSIDE OF FRONT DOORGiving up full-timing, bought a park model "home-base", selling the rig and getting a small run-around bumper pull; the new owner of our beautiful Carriage will correct if they see fit. Thanks Chris.Downsizing Carriage Cameo-what’s a good bumper pull? We’re giving up full-timing and selling our Cameo. (PM if you want info on it). We bought a park model as our home-base and want a small bumper pull to jet around to the small campsites, creeks, etc. Love the Lance but it’s a little spendy. We think 22ish feet would be good; don’t want anything as small as a Casita or R-Pod, but not too big either. Any ideas? Thanks.Re: CRACKS ON INSIDE OF FRONT DOORSounds like the ticket jelly belly!! Thanks.
