Like to avoid Interste's when feasible.Used PricingWhen buying new, I understand that one can expect a discount somewhere in the range of 25-32% off of the MSRP. My question is what is the norm when dealing on a used (1-4 yr. old ) unit.? Does the same percentage apply? Thank you for your advice!Re: Midland Trail Route 60We will be leaving from the Edinburg, VA. area with a possible stop at Douthat State Park (but we are flexible).Midland Trail Route 60Has anyone driven the Midland Trail (Rt. 60) in a motorhome? It runs from Virginia to Charleston, W. Va. Suppose to be very scenic but from the map it looks like it winds and twists a lot which might not be RV friendly. Any info would be appreciated!Re: Replacing TV on Triple E GT29I also have a 2010 Regency 29 GT. While I have not attempted to replace the TV, I have made a few other modifications. If you haven't done so, I would suggest you call the Triple E factory and speak to Brad Wall. They have been very good at getting back to me with answer's to my questions. It will probably save you some time and effort. Since we both have the same RV (and there does not appear to be many of us) I would like to stay in touch with you to discuss any issue's or modifications in the future. Not quite sure how to get you my personal e-mail address but I'll try to figure it it. Good luck with your project.Re: Apollo Microwave convection oven issueWe have a 2010 Tripe E Regency and had the same issue. We replaced it with a Sharp convection/microwave of almost the same size. As was stated on another post, the problem in doing so is venting the heat. The Apollo has a fan on the top rear which vents the heat out the front. The Sharp does not have a similar exhaust fan. Our unit was located below the stove top. To solve the problem, I put in a sliding shelve in the existing opening and placed the new unit on it. When we want to use the unit, we merely release the lock and slide the unit out to use it. Because nothing is above it or behind it, the unit vents the heat just like it would if it was on the counter top. I cut some wood molding, stained it to match the cherry cabinets and drawers, and framed around the original opening. I liked the look of the wood much better than the plastic frame that was on the Apollo. This has worked well for us and the new unit is of much higher quality than the original Apollo. Hope this helps!Re: Class C without over cab beds?Check out the Regency 28 or 29 GT by Triple E. I have the 29 and love it. They are made in Canada and used ones are hard to come by but very well built. There is a 28 ft. model at Battlefield RV in Gettysburg, Va. I looked at it but opted for the 29 from the same dealer.Owner of the dealership "Woody" is a great guy to deal with.Re: Triple E GT24?I have a 2010 Regency 29 GT. I looked long and hard to find a used Regency and finally found one at a dealer in Gettysburg. It had 5K miles on it when we picked it up and drove it home to N. Fla. We have had it about a year and a half and absolutely love it. We recently completed a three week trip thru out Tenn. and it performed flawlessly. We averaged 9 mpg. pulling a Jeep Wrangler. I have on two or three occassions contacted the factory regarding problems or questions and they have been prompt in getting back to me. Currently I am in the process of replacing the convection microwave with a newer one and putting it on a slide out for easier access and cooling. I also saw the post that they would not be making the Regency in the future, but have not confirmed this. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the Regency.Tenn. COE CampgroundsHas anyone stayed at either Defeated Creek COE Campground or Floating Mill Creek COE Campground near Cookeville, Tenn. Both look nice trying to decide between the two. Any information would be appreciated.
