This is the first time we are doing this should be fun.Lake George CampingWe are planning our trip for next year. Looking to start off a three week journey at Lake George and visiting Niagara Falls NY with maybe a stop in between or on the way home to NJ. Can anyone recommend a good campground near Lake George. We are a family of 4. The three we are looking at are, Lake George Escape, King Phillips and Moose Hillock. We have not been to either Lake George or Niagara before or traveled this far or long with our camper. ThanksRe: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone have an ATV I could toss in the bed of the truck just to make sure I have all outdoor activities covered? ;) Nice Truck!Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Re: ~Post your campsite photos here~Tall Pines Yogi Bear NJ Re: Roof Repair 2007 Jayco 31 BHS TTDo not use screws or try to peel the roof or caulk back . Use the eternabond, like suggested, or self leveling caulk. That model Jayco is known to leak at the corners. My nephew and friend have the same model and both are dealing with an issue where it was leaking in the exact same spot you describe and on a back corner then wicking through the felt under the rubber roof. Both leaks went undetected for a while because of the wicking and caused extensive damage under the rubber roof. I'm not trying to scare you or claim you have the same issue but I would thoroughly check and re-caulk all the seams and voids on the roof. My nephew has an adjuster coming out today to see if they are going to cover the damage under his insurance. My 2004 JayFlight 27BHStill serves us well but looking to upgrade to a slide and go mostly seasonal. Re: Pulling a 32ftThanks by distances I meant crosswinds, swaying things like that. I wouldn't even consider pulling without a distribution hitch. I use an Expedition to tow with.Pulling a 32ftAnyone pulling a 32ft Camper for weekend and extended weekend trips? I currently own a 27ft and it is easy as pie to trailer and maneuver in to the sites. We are looking for a new camper and found a 32ft that we like. The only thing that has me on the fence is the length. Not sure I am going to like pulling around something that long and don't want to be limited on the distance we can travel. The new one is only 1000lbs heavier so weight is not an issue. Any thoughts?Re: Need Opinons KZ SportsmenAll good points. I was just worried because I see some older FG campers that have faded. I guess it's all how you maintain it.
