I have a Wilderness 2875BH that is four years old. Had been no issues to last outing when slide drive failed been a month getting warrenty authorization and parts ordered but I had also told them to take care of those headed out for Labor day and look at mine after so lost a week there. As with anything has had some quirks but overall would look at a Wilderness again. The rear bathroom door is nice just use WD40 on pivot points because road water debris hits front pivot points making them sticky nature of the beast. The wide spread axels sometimes look crooked after backing into parking spot. I thought mine was crooked but trailer was fine towing. Then when I looked at a rest area everything was fine. Now when I back in I pull forward then back into spot without any turning and tires and axels look fine,237Views0likes0CommentsRe: Memories of your very first trailer camping trip
My first trip was in early 60"s. My parents bought a 17 foot Elcona single axle trailer. I can remember my dad getting mad at my older brother as my dad tried to back it into the driveway. My brother was driving tractor trailer for Uncle Sam and he was laughing so hard he could not offer advice. We went to 4 mile creek state park in NY only 20 minutes from house. Then Leachworth state park and thousand islands that summer. I do not have clear memories but my dad took many pics while my mother kept a journal.314Views0likes0Comments
