The hubby scheduled it for next week. I told him if I pay for the quote, I'm pretty much locked into having him do it....can't go get more estimates. But then again, we live over the mountains and through the woods....and across closed roads to the next nearest repair shop!Estimate for roof repairI called my insurance company and they told me to take it to nearby rv repair place and get an estimate of the hail damage done on the roof. Since then, another storm came and now the windows are leaking! So, my hubby called the repair guy here in town and he said he is charging us $350 up front for the estimate! Is that NORMAL? He said we can get it back from insurance, but I'm not so sure. Anyone know about this???Interior lightsI have a Skyline Trailrider. I wanted to replace all the lights with LED's. I looked around it it was way to expensive for me to do so. I went onto Amazon.com and found the LED bulbs that replace the 921 bulbs and bought 2 packs of 10. The fit great and are bright enough without the heat and sucking down power. For $40.00 I got 20 bulbs and the shipping was really fast!!!Re: 2009 Skyline Trailrider Toyhauler outside lights handye9 wrote: You say your lenses are burnt / cracked, it might be best to replace the fixtures. Here's a link to ebay listing for an entire LED fixture. Do s search (here in the forum) for LED lights. You'll find several threads. Many have links to sizing charts with sources of supply. It's the square light fixtures outside (spotlights) that are broken. Only one is broken and we found a supplier for that one....but I don't know if we can replace those bulbs from the old ones to LEDs. The local RV guy told us he has no clue.2009 Skyline Trailrider Toyhauler outside lightsLooking to replace the outside (spotlight) bulbs on my 2009 Skyline Trailrider with LED's. We have burned and cracked the plastic holders due to the heat off the old bulbs and have been told not to keep those lights on very long. But I love to entertain and many times have had to use the lights for more than a few minutes. Anyone know what LED bulbs I can use to replace them and/or what kind of bulb is in there now? I have always used the RV shop to replace and fix things, but we now live toooooo far away from. Also wanting to replace all the bulbs in and around the trailer to LED....looking for those types and info on them also!!! Thanks!Re: Anyone have a trick for city water intake valve?Thank you all for the responses!!!!!!!!!! Gave the info to hubby!!!!Anyone have a trick for city water intake valve? Our city water intake valve is broken. Seems to me that a few years of the fresh water house hanging off of it finally did it in. The hubby hates "modifying" or drilling any part of the trailer....but has anyone found a way to take some of the weight off the valve when attached to the house? Our trailer is a 2009 Skyline Trailrider Toy Hauler Thanks!!!!!!!Re: Exit Now Interstate Exit DirectoryI loved the spiral bound Exit Now directory!!! We haven't traveled too much in the last few years and now that we have a HUGE road trip coming up, I went online to purchase a new one. Wow, as the "navigator" I am horrified that my #1 navigational aide is no longer available! Boooo to the publisher for stopping publication of it!
