Thanks guys. After checking a little further I bypassed the switch and found it to be defective. Ordered a new switch from Barker and installed it earlier today and works like a champ again. Thanks folks. With this floorplan with three slideouts it's getting closer to the living area of a fiver of the same length, without the steps.
