I am making note of your experience and now know where to check should I encounter a Lippert malfunction. Thank you for this information. I noticed that I had difficulty getting the cover off as when I bought the RV, I had fabricated and installed a sliding tray for full pass through access by making a sliding tray that would bring everything to me just by sliding the tray half way out on either side. I also made a trough for that shelf to slide in, with a bracket to prevent me sliding it to fer out, unless I needed it all of the way out. This trough wall is made with a 1X4 and stands too high to easily pull the Lippert Panel cover. I shall remove just enough of the trough wall to allow easy access of the panel cover. I installed a door latch bolt to lock the tray in position on the passenger side so that it couldn't move while traveling. I will soon try to post photos of this system to show how it works. That is if I con remember how to post photos.Re: can't get auto level control to come on?I called the phone number on the brochure to get hold of a person and it took less than half an hour to get the resolution to my mess up. I didn't want to catch someone at their computer.Re: can't get auto level control to come on?Have you made an attempt to contact the manufacturer to see if they could guide you to a resolution? August 17th found us nearly halfway to our destination in Pennsylvania, and I couldn't locate my heart meds in the TT. Mistakenly attempted opening one of the slides to get into the closet without grounding and leveling it. Our "In Command" retaliated and erased that slide. I contacted Dutchman, the manufacturer, and they walked me through a couple of steps to correct it. Nothing worked. The gave me the phone number to A.S.A, the engineers in control of "In Command" and in three short instructions, I had full control again. Two weeks have gone by now, and no bills from either. You have the same leveling system as our DENALI has.Re: Ford F350 7.3 Gas Pulling 15kFishOnOne,this sounds encouraging. We will see what our dealer will be able to come up with.Re: Ford F350 7.3 Gas Pulling 15kI had the opportunity to drive a new 7.3 gas Super Duty today. That new 10 speed trans worked great. I was amazed how the whole vehicle performed. I would wander if anyone has had the opportunity to experience the fuel mileage either while towing or without. If it isn't significantly worse than that of our '16 250 Super Duty with 6.2, we may just make the step up provided we locate the package that has the options we currently have. It might take time as we might have to wait till the factories get back to work.Re: MorRyde steps - one solutionWith our MorRyde steps, when our steps aren't pretty close to level, we end up with stress to either the threshold or it ends up making the door tough to close. It appears by your photos, that these steps could be significantly out of level enough to cause problems to your travel trailer. We have a 34'5" TT and we have to build up our steps with our MorRyde steps.Re: hot water heater switch confusionI may have misunderstood your post on my response. If you have the "In Command Controller Panel", Then what I first entered could be of use to you.Re: hot water heater switch confusionOn our system, when you light up the control panel, the water heater switch is second from the left at the bottom of the screen. You touch the button and it will light up a lighter color of blue and show the words: Propane, Electric, and Both. Tap on one of them, and what you pushed will begin. If all is working properly, you can leave it alone and it will function that way till you touch the panel again at which time the light will go darker and the heater will shut off.Re: Who has a Defibrillator?Yesterday at the VA, I had four tests and five appointments and it turned out to be one long day. Preliminary results looked good to the point that I was given authorization to drive again. Today, I received the news that all but one test was reported with good results. I should get the other results NLT Monday. From what she has determined is that the light headedness that I experienced had triggered the defibrillator jolt. It was caused by hypoglycemia which I have a couple of times a year. By the first examination it was determined that the defibrillator emergency response level was actually set lower than that of the pacemaker side. It has now been reset to allow the pacemaker to kick in each time before the other reacts. She mentioned that an altered diet will keep my protein level better controlled which would likely control the light headed events.Re: Who has a Defibrillator?I have had three heart attacks. I had my first of three MI's, the first in 1989, the next 1990, then one in 2008. In early March of 2015, I had the occasion to experience the working end of a Defibrillator as my heart rate had reached 163 beats per minute. In the back of an ambulance en route to the hospital they pulled over and I was hit with 50 Jewels, then a few seconds later 100 Jewels. Soon after they announced I had returned to Sinus Rhythm and I could relax. By the end of the week I had a Pacemaker/Defibrillator installed, and several new meds to adjust to. All is now good. Jump ahead to 12 September 2018. DW wife and I were camping and preparing to leave northern Illinois for northern Missouri. I started feeling light headed, paused shortly to get my bearings. Next thing I knew DW grabbed me and pushed me against the rear of the truck just as my internal Defibrillator zapped me, She said it felt as every muscle in me tensed for an unknown amount of time. We went into the TT to decide what to do. In no time I was feeling much better, but had her to take me to the ER. They ran their tests and released me to return to Missouri. I drove the 160 miles to next CG. I contacted my cardiologist and they told me to be at the VA by 0800 next day. They hooked me to the Medtronic monitor, then ran numerous reports, then fine tuned my implant. 1st of the month I have five appointments at the VA to see what happens from there. Right now, I can not drive till March. They said this could change depending on the results of their tests. I turn 71 right after the first of the year, and pray that we can continue our camping life style for years.
