There is power to everything else in the trailer. Given that the fuse was blown and the breakers tripped I am guessing something went sideways. I guess I will have to break out the multimeter and start at it that way. Thank you much!Help with our Furnace PleaseHey Everyone, I have a 1984 Hi-Lo and our furnace has stopped working. The furnace is actually only a couple years old as I had previously replaced it. The furnace is a Suburban NT (I don't remember if it was 16 or 20). The issue just started one day. Turn on the thermostat and nothing happens. So I checked the breakers, they were flipped. Checked the fuses and one was bad. Fixed both issues and still nothing. No blower motor, nada. Any ideas on what I should check? I'm really not wanting to put another furnace in. Any help is greatly appreciated.Re: Need Advice on a complete Shower overhaulDon't mistake me. I'm not mad or anything, I am just honestly astonished that's even a possibility. It's completely against the point of a P trap as you pointed out. The day I responded I honestly couldn't fathom there being people that dumb.Re: Need Advice on a complete Shower overhaulBy turn it sideways I mean I rotated it on it's axis 45 degrees to the right. So instead of the trap facing front to back, it faces right to left. I'm kinda wondering what kind of people usually come in here that you would even think I'd be that stupid? Guys that work at hardware stores are like that. They get so many people that have no clue they think nobody does.Re: Need Advice on a complete Shower overhaulPer Pappy's request I am reporting back on my shower overhaul. So this job was a pain in the REAR. But, I learned that EVERY job on my rig is a ridiculous pain simply due to the age of my rig. So I went ahead and got a new shower pan without a seat. The idea of actually having room to move around in the shower was just too enticing. My issues started the moment I opened the box of the new pan. In the past when I have looked at the pans the drain was at the front, center of the pan. This was on the side, center of the pan. Massive, massive problem. The box for the P-trap was going to have to be completely moved. So I procrastinated a week and then finally went back at it. Cut a new hole in the floor where the new P-trap would be... Only to discover that the metal frame of the trailer itself was directly under where the new P-trap would go. I was not cutting through it. A couple days later of messing around, brainstorming, trying different things it occurred to me to turn the P-trap sideways, and bam. Problem solved. Working with the ABS and moving the vent was just fun and easy. ABS cement gets everywhere if you aren't careful... Another problem I ran into was that when I pulled the old tub out the vinyl paneling that makes up the shower walls only went half way down. The old shower was 36in high. The new one was less than half that. So I bought this vinyl sheeting I don't even honestly know whats its for normally it just worked for my purposes. Here's where I started to suck. By this point I've three weeks into this project, had all the issues already and just wanted to be done. I should have done a much better job of cutting the walls. Alas I did not so they are in but not very pretty. The pan doesn't sit right into the slot because of moving the P-trap so there are gaps around the edges. I completely enclosed the shower with curtains to solve this problem. I'm not sure I will post pics because it is not very pretty. I don't need pretty though I needed function. I just took my first shower in the new setup and oh my is it soo much better. Thanks for the advice and tips.Re: Need Advice on a complete Shower overhaulOkay, thanks much.Re: Need Advice on a complete Shower overhaulI'm sorry I just thought about something. It was said that the air admittance is there for when I flush the grey water tank. What if I never do? Meaning the rig is parked and hooked up all the time. I just leave the grey water tank open. The black water tank I still use and flush daily.Re: Need Advice on a complete Shower overhaulExcellent thank you for your help.Re: Need Advice on a complete Shower overhaulAnd thanks for the link!Re: Need Advice on a complete Shower overhaulOkay so I am gathering that I can't simply cap it off correct? I have to have it in the line somewhere?
