I didn't think the F250 had overloads? I think you should try dumping the air out of your air bags. I'm guessing your overload springs are banging oon thier supports. My truck rides very similar towing as it does empty. Some F250's have overloads. Essentially he has an F350 if it has overloads. I don't use airbags and my truck rides on the overloads. I consider my combo to ride quite comfortably. I agree try running with no air in the airbags so the truck will use its suspension the way it was originally setup.Re: Full time rv livingThis is crazy.... So many negative people here. I and my wife are fulltiming in our rig with our 2 kids and a dog. Our kids are ages 2 and 4. My kids are happy and don't care. When we talk about the house we are trying to build sometimes my 4 year old gets sad because she doesn't want to move out of the 5er. We have been full time in our 5er for 17 months. We expected to have our house almost complete by now, but have had some wetland, tidal, critical area hurdles to cross. The climate is not nearly as intense here as it is in Ohio. We had a very cold winter this last winter. If I remember correctly we had 7 or 8 days in a row the warmest it got was 32F. We had no freezing issues whatsoever. We had no skirting either. I am not recommending to go without skirting, I am only stating we didn't have it. The winter was fine, no hardships. We played in the snow, built snowmen. We had a 6' Christmas tree in our living room and Christmas lights hung inside the 5er. All was well and still is well... The one thing I can agree with is that living in an RV is not exceptionally cheaper by any stretch. Our 5er insurance is actually higher that our homeowners insurance was. Our car insurance went up because we lost some discounts. By living at your in-laws you will save your current mortgage or rent, but you will gain an RV payment.Re: Washington State parks over crowding Tom/Barb wrote: Neighbor just got home with his motorhome from Eastern Wa, via #2, said the normal 7 hour trip took 11 hours. traffic was stop and go from 11 miles east of Goldbar to I-5 I also traveled from eastern Washington to western Washington via highway 2 on Sunday. Traffic was terrible. It took us 6 and a half hours to travel 191 miles. Traffic from Everett to Olympia has also been terrible lately. It took a friend of mine 10 hours to get from Bellingham, WA to Vancouver, WA a couple weeks ago.Re: 2016 Chevy Suburban w Towing PackageIf the trailer was completely unloaded it may just need a lot more weight loaded up front to get the tongue weight up. It's tough to know without weights or seeing how the hitch was set up.Re: PO'd Rv ownerI am running Hercules H-901 235/85R16. Load range G. Mine did. Perhaps we need a poll of new 5er buyers to see what they got. Mine came filled I have purchased 2 fifth wheels new, each from different dealers, and both came with filled propane tanks. Hopefully during PDI you would find out if full or empty. I always test my furnace and hot water heater on propane during PDI.Re: One way to do it....The first time I saw it posted here lots of people said the same thing. Everyone must assume nobody new ever comes here. Who cares if it gets posted twice a week forever...Re: Where To Dump Black Water When Dry Camping Grit dog wrote: City folk vs country folk......love it! Some of y'all need to get out of the city more..... Question to the nay Sayers, what do you do when you have to take a leak or drop a deuce in the woods? Hold it til you run back to "civilization"? Bag it and throw it in your pack with lunch and the compass? Here's a nice little fact to gross out the city slickers. The entire Victoria BC area dumps ALL their raw sewage into the water. Have been forever! We just got the contract to build the first sewer treatment plant there, lol. (Better stop eating that wild caught salmon and halibut from the strait of Juan de fuca. Them fish get fat on recycled poutine and Kokanee!) I just caught a halibut out on Middle Bank on May 4th. It was delicious!!!Re: 2017 Keystone Cougar 336BHS plumbing problemsI have had 2 outside kitchens and neither drained to a tank. They both have had spots to hook up a hose directly under sink. Where the other end of the hose goes is up to the user. I very rarely have ever used the outside sink.
