The camera has a magnet on it so can go on truck or trailer bumper.....monitor plugs into cigarette lighter.....it's wireless. Works great!Re: Looking for a truck...Thanks....I just knew this question had probably been asked 100 times.....I like everyone else wants to get the right truck the first time.....I've got six more months to research before making a decision...thanksRe: Looking for a truck...Okay then.....you all agree ...lol.....that the f150 could pull my fully loaded 6500 lb. trailer just fine? I've been waffling between a 1/2 and 3/4 ton.... I too appreciate all of your knowledge and responses. I have a great 20fq Creekside trailer ready to go, but no truck....a small budget , about $15000.Re: Outdoors RV made in Oregonbarko1 we went the middle of May....about 500 miles was a little rough...pot holes, road work, a little gravel, etc....we had plenty of time and took it slow. Pulled it with a 2016 GMC 3/4 ton....think the trailer is about 6500 lbs.fully loaded. Back windows on the Creekside were perfect! The views were amazing! The wildlife, bears, eagles, moose, whales, sea otters and more right out that back window! Boondocked all the way up and back. You should go....we stayed in a rv park in downtown Valdez, camped at the city CG in Seward (my favorite), and on the Homer Spit. All beautiful.... Not sure if the TV is 19in. or 15....my trailers in storage....it seemed the right size for the space though...Re: Outdoors RV made in OregonI own a 2016 20 ft Creekside....pulled it to Alaska and back last year....still just like new.....love my trailer! Would definitely recommend!Re: Had a new moose calf born in the backyard yesterdayGreat picture! Thanks for posting!Re: Taking a gun....worth hassle? Are we cautious? Yes....Are we afraid? No......we listen to our gut feelings about our camping spots, surroundings, etc. BTW I'm a female.....didn't mean to stir everybody up.......it is a right/freedom that we have......I thank you all for your thoughts and opinions. Looks like it's about 50 50......Taking a gun....worth hassle? We're leaving in a couple weeks, from Oklahoma to Alaska for the summer. Our first rv trip through Canada. Super excited!! Planning to mostly boondock..... I know you can take a rifle in with proper documentation, etc....is it a hassle crossing the border in and out of Canada? Thoughts and comments please..... Thanks everyone for all the great posts, pictures and advice given on these forums.....as newbies we sure do appreciate and enjoy them!Re: Do you keep original tires on rv when going to Alaska?Well it happened. ....our first blowout! On our way back from GC.....about 6000 miles on tires, they look like new.....but one came apart.....they're 205 75 R15 Goodyear Marathon
