as some remember from my last post I has a tire failure and now need to replace the metal skirting around the tires on 2003 forest river cardinal. I think that I remember seeing a place where I could order it for campers. anyone have a idea? Ok someone asked about details. The tires were aired to 80 psi. I just went on a camping trip 1 month prior. Before that it sat under a shed on gravel. The sun does not hit the tires. Tires were not balanced. The outside temp when the tires failed was about 82 deg. Also I don’t drive over 65 mph.327Views0likes0Commentstires again!
I know tires are beat to death but 2 years ago I bought 4 new Duro tires for my 5th wheel. went on a trip to the outerbanks last weekend and had 2 blow outs and 1 looks like it was about to separate . yes I carry 2 spare tires so I was ok but. they did a good bit of damage to one side. looking around for new ones now. mine are 225 75 15. thinking about going with maxxis. maybe the new good year(cant remember the name) tires every 2 years gets kinda pricy.3.2KViews0likes32Comments06 2500 chevy diesel fuel tank
been thing about adding a auxillary fuel tank to my 06 chevy. I like the idea of the titan tanks but at $1500 is more than I want to pay. right now looking at the RDS 45 gal from northern tool that fits in the bed right behind the cab. about 10" deep. does not seem like it would take up too much room. anyone else use these?1.1KViews0likes3Commentssmall leak
yesterday we had several inches is blowing rain. i went out last night after work to inspect my new to me 2003 cardinal and everything looked good except around the exhaust vent in the toilet room there was a small amount around the vent and a couple of drops on the floor. did not look like it had ever leak there before. what type of sealant should i use around the vent. i inspected around everything when i bought it and did not notice any problem areas1.2KViews0likes6Comments
