It is a freightliner chassis. Typical 2000 Bounder 36S. My apologies for my misinformation. Dang noobs! heheRe: Suspension Air BagsThese are the suspension air bags in a 36 foot diesel pusher with air suspension. There are no springs or coils, the air bags are the main suspension. After looking at them, I think it would be better left to a professional to change them out. Thanks all for trying to help! DanRe: Suspension Air BagsNo springs at all. The airbag is all.Re: Suspension Air BagsI have no idea on that. I will look in the books I have and see if it says anything. (By the way Harold, were are practically neighbors... 195th ave and McDowell)Suspension Air BagsHas anyone replaced their own suspension air bags? My RV place says they are showing signs of dry rotting and should be replaced. Was wondering if it is a job that a moderate talent wrench spinner can do or best left to the pros? 2000 Fleetwood Bounder 36s. Workhorse Chassis.Re: Dump techniques....My little secret is dumping a full bag of ice cubes into the toilet then drive around the campground once or twice before dumping. The sloshing with the ice will break up and clumps and knock loose stuff sticking to your tank. DanRe: Floor Replacement on 2000 BounderCompint: Not real sure. Depends on your rollers i would guess. But we are only talking about 1/8 - 1/4 inch difference between linoleum and laminate. I can not imagine the rollers being that tight in specs that it would make a difference. Just my opinion tho. 1st trip out with the new floor. Wasn't vigilant. Had a small pebble caught under the leading edge of the slide. Put a nice scratch in a nice straight line! (Add to checklist: Check and sweep under edge before retracting slide) The floor and underlayer REALLY quieted down the road noise! I was really surprised by this. All in all, was a worh while venture. DanRe: Strange electrical problemOK. Got a hair Dryer, works fine in all outlets EXCEPT microwave outlet. Will work on fan only, but as soon as you kick on some heat, It acts like the microwave did. Slows down to nothing. all other outlets in RV are fine. Not a pedestal problem, as I am back home and still acting the same. Will check tomorrow on the breaker issue, but not holding out much hope on it. The outlet works fine on Generator, just conks out on shore power. Thanks for everyones input! Truly appreciated. DanStrange electrical problemThis is so strange.. Plugged in to 30 amp shore power. Went to use microwave. As soon as the magnetron fires up, the lights and control panel on the microwave dim to the point of not working. Used an extension cord to plug the microwave into another outlet in the RV and it works fine. I figured it was loose wiring in the outlet, (sometimes those wires come loose from the crimp), but that was a no-go. Now the strange part. If I fire up the generator, it all works well. No other outlets in the MH are affected, just this one. Any Ideas? DanRe: Can someone tell me what this is?Thank you! Thats all I needed was the short answer. :)
