They did qualify my Heavy Duty Freightliner Truck and fifth wheel trailer since it had been fully converted from commercial to passenger plates. I signed up for the Roadside Assistance and although you hope to never use the service I feel very comfortable having it. Just made a round trip to Golden CO for a week and looking forward to our next "Safe" and "Protected" trip.Is Assistance Available For MeI keep trying to sign up for roadside assistance only to be told that I don't qualify. I pull my fifth wheel camper with a 2009 Freightliner converted truck with passenger plates.. I'm told that the truck doesn't qualify. I was told online that it did. As a Good Sam member I wish someone would call me.Re: Looking for Roadside Assistance PlanDarren - seems that the person I spoke to wasnt familiar with that aspect of the policy. Would love for someone to call me and to discuss getting set up. The Freightliner had all commercial towing equipment removed and the bed converted for pulling my fifth wheel only.I do have pictures to show that and the truck registration was recently redone as well.Looking for Roadside Assistance PlanSo I pull my 5er with a custom built 2009 Freightliner Class 8 truck. It is like a semi truck except I have a Western Hauler bed that I can haul a Smart Car on and a fifth wheel hitch mounted on the rear. All commercial towing equipment has been removed. Because it is a converted semi the Good Sam RV Roadside Plan isnt eligible. Does anyone use anything else?
