We have had our Workhorse for over 14 years(full time)and do not hear the fans as loud.The scan gauge shows it on at 202*and off at 210*. The thermostat should be left as is. I believe the Chevrolet engineers know better than me.

Thanks for tips, I loosened the panel the switch is on and reached in and shorted across the switch.Slide went out.Now if I can find a number for the switch. I'll sit here for several months.

Slide out dead
I have a 2002 Kountry Star Class A.Today the main Slide out will not extend. The 20 amp. fuse is good.When pressing the button,the green light does not light up.Any help will be appreciated.

These batteries can be very long lived if they are charged at a float voltage of 2.25 to 2.3 volts/cell (at 25 degrees C) (13.5V to 13.8V for a 12V battery).

The converter supplies 13.6 volts continuously I used to add water each month,I added mineral oil. Now much less.

Battery Disconnect?
On reading info. on battery disconnect, it says to disconnect battery if it will be on converter power for extended time.Anyone do this? Mine stays on shore power/ converter power for months. Am I ruining my batteries?
