Did you remove the old dicor for roof seams or just enternabond over them?RV Caulk ReccomendationsMy 2008 Roo 23ss needs to be recaulked all the seams, body parts around the lights, speakers, etc. Pick below shows a small example. I'm considering the 3M Marine 4000 UV Adhesive/Sealant Fast Cure or the Pro Flex RV sealants. Pro Flex is a lot less expensive than the 3M. Any one have suggestions or preferences? Will be doing the roof seams too, trying to decide between eternabond or lap sealant, but leaning towards eternabond. thanks 12V Replacement Battery SuggestionsLooking for a replacement 12V deep cycle battery for our Roo. Our battery bit the dust. We don't do any dry camping. Any suggestions? ThanksSplit Vinyl FloorThis winter was hard on the vinyl floor in my 2008 Roo. No water infiltration or damage (the darker wood in the pick is just a different piece of wood, not rot or mildew). The extrem cold weather cracked the floor. Seems like this is a common problem. Now need to replace it. I've seen people who have replaced with vinyl or laminate. The floor is only glued on the edges. Dealing with the cabinets seems like the worst part. Anybody have this problem in the past? Did you replace with vinyl or laminate? Re: Smoked Bearing -- Spindle Damage - Axle Replacement?? Pauljdav wrote: I agree with the others. If the seal surface is in good shape you can get those races off. Smooth up the rest and you are in good shape. When did you have those bearings serviced last? No that rust just happened in the last 2 weeks. I haven't had a chance to look at it until this weekend. When I started the trip all seemed in order. Here's how it looked just after the failure was noticed. Moderator edit to re-size picture to forum limit of 640px maximum size. Re: Smoked Bearing -- Spindle Damage - Axle Replacement?? Whatever it is it came from the factory.Smoked Bearing -- Spindle Damage - Axle Replacement??Wheel bearing smoked on my trailer. I'm not sure how long it had been smoking, no one honked or alerted me. We were about 1 mile from storage lot when noticed smoke pouring from the wheel. I had a chance to pull the wheel and assess the damage. The races are stuck to the axle and the the spindle is chewed up. I'm more concerned about the spindle. Based on the spindle damage should I replace the axle? Moderator edit to re-size pictures to forum limit of 640px maximum size.
