I do have a similar fan that I obtained with slightly different specs. Don't know if it will work or not. As far as the OEM fan I was told that Dometic does not have them. In the mean time, I was in contact with Panther RV (Who has been great with me) and they DID get correspondence from Dometic. I checked the Power Module (4453000609) and found a large scorch mark on it. I am waiting for this part to come in and hopefully all will work. Dometic DMC4101 Problem I have the above 12V fridge and the evaporator freezer fan stopped working. Blue blinking light in fridge compartment. From my searches I have found that this is either a fan failure (4453000635) or the Control bd failure (4453000636). No one has this fan in stock and I have been able to locate a Control Board. (Have tried like motors to no avail.) I have sent Dometic a message several weeks ago and have not heard back from them. I have had some minor problems before with this unit but have been able to address them. The company does NOT support their products by having parts available. I am almost at the point of chucking this 2 yr. old fridge and getting a Residential. Two points: 1. Do not purchase this product and 2, does anyone have luck with a Residental Fridge.....10 cu. Model and make please. I am a full timer, basically hooked up to shore power at my site most of the time. It is a good thing this did not happen on the road. I personally, will never buy another Dometic product other than the toilet I have which works well. (no joke intended) Re: Vinyl Roof Cleaner TPO per manual. Vinyl Roof Cleaner I have a Carriage Cameo with a VINYL roof and I am looking to see if there is any cleaner safe for vinyl that I can spray on the roof and then just rinse off. Presently, I am using Dawn and Murphy Soap with a roof brush, then rinse off. But I am getting up in years and want to see if there is something that works and is easy to use. If there is an applicator that is similar to those applicators used on lawns for insects or weed, that is just sprayed on it would be great. Anyone with experience or good suggestions? Re: Bad RV Products Supplier - RV Products Shop An update of my problem. After getting replacement T-Stats the problem with the furnace not restarting or kicking out early still persisted. I finally called another repair person and he "thought" since we looked at every other option that it was the control board in the HVAC unit. Evidently, signals do not go directly from the t-stat to the furnace. It goes through the board in the HVAC unit first. We took the gamble and replaced that board. We also invested in an EasyTouch 352 t-stat. Although pricey it has many features the OEM thermostat does not have. After spending over $1000 and hooking everything up, all seemed to work fine. Hopefully, it continues next Winter. (Warmer weather came) I recommend the EasyTouch highly, although costly. It is worth it. Re: Bad RV Products Supplier - RV Products Shop Just a post in addition to above. An Edit...... Because my OEM thermostat did not work properly, I needed to install this unit hanging from the wall without the Mounting Plate. It worked fine using the Heat Pump, but my Furnace which was needed for coming cold weather did not function properly. (It cycled on and off repeatedly). Well, I thought it was the furnace, so I called a repair person and after trouble shooting the furnace and also removing it and bench tested it came to the conclusion that the thermostat was defective. We confirmed this by taking the wires from the T-stat (Red and white) and hot wiring it together. It worked fine. So, it appears that I also received a defective product. As and end note, I will say that I did receive a Mounting plate from the company without any communication, and I was able to obtain another thermostat that when installed is operating at 100%. It cost me $260.00 for the Service call. Bad RV Products Supplier - RV Products Shop Just a note that RV Products Shop in Witchata, KS should not be used for RV Parts. It seems they just carry HVAC items. Here is my story. Last week I found them in the internet using a Coleman Mach thermostat as a search tool. There web site look really good, so I emailed them via their contact method and they got an answer in a few hours. All is good. I ordered the thermostat they suggested ( 1 of the 2) and messaged back that I had done so. The part was shipped the next day via USPS Advantage and arrived 5 days later ($18.00 shipping). Now the kicker......... I opened the T-Stat for installation, and noted that the Mounting Plate that is supposed to come with it was missing. I then messaged him both from the general email and from my account. I noted the problem and asked to please advise. It is now almost 3 days later and have not heard from them. I will note, that the unit they sent me appeared to be slightly used and the manual appeared used also. Due to the cold weather we are having I needed a T-stat that worked, as the one in my RV was failing. I wired it up and although the gauge is 3 degrees off, it does work (Checked with 2 other thermometers). So, it is just hanging from the wall now. I did find their phone number, but they don't answer and say to leave a email communication. SolvedRe: oxidizing We have a 2012 Carriage Cameo. We try to wash it every 6 months, min. First I do the roof with Dawn and Murphy Wood Cleaner, the on the sides I use Meguiar's Ultimate Wash and Wax. Then after that I go around the RV and spray all the seals with silicone lubricant(inside and outside seals). Then I check the integrety of the sealer to be sure there are no potential leaks. If you have "chalking" I don't know if you are beyond help, but you can check on line or at a automotive store to see if there is a product that helps with the chalking and also cleans and waxes. Good Luck Re: DMV issues Not all mail services are the same. You need one that is set up as a "Domicile" not just a mail box. We use a UPS store mail service here in NC. Check in your state to see if the UPS store is just for mail or is also a Domicile address. Re: Really Cheap - 12v 100amp-hr Lithium Batteries A year ago I got 2 100 A Lithium batteries from Li Time. Great batteries and service. Check them out, and don't be afraid to call them for recommendations. But be sure your charger in your coach can handle Lithium. Most chargers for DeepCycle can not do lithium unless they are duel rated or auto sensing. I had to change mine. I upgraded to the Progressive Dynamics Lithium/Deep Cycle Charger. Don't be afraid to call them either. Very happy with both purchases. LI batteries are an advertising jungle with prices all over the place. The ones I bought are reasonable and Customer Service was Great.
