Everything worked fine and water temp is 150 when it shuts off. Thanks everyone for the help.Re: Atwood water heater won't shut off.You were right OB. I again tried the air pocket then lit the gas and let it go until the regulator started weeping. Checked the water temp and it was 155. I will replace the regulator next weekend and let you know if that fixes it. I am using an electric hot rod right now but our park frowns on using electric.??Re: Atwood water heater won't shut off. Thanks OB. I won't be at the trailer until this weekend so I'll get back to you.Re: Atwood water heater won't shut off. Water swells when heated. If air pocket in top of tank (there by design) gets lost pressure can build up causing T&P to weep Turn off water supply Open faucet hot side to relieve pressure Open T&P via lever....let snap close when water stops running out Close faucet Turn on water supply Thanks. I've done all of that with no improvement. The water is steaming hot when the pressure relief starts weeping so I don't think there is a problem with that. Don't know what to try next.Atwood water heater won't shut off.Have a G10-3e that is heating to the point of pressure relief valve weeping. Water is extremely hot and the gas doesn't shut off. This is a gas only water heater and I have replaced the gas valve and the thermostats with no difference. Don't know what to try next.Re: Heading south the middle of the winter from upstate NYWhat do you do about road salt on the underside of your trailer?Re: Dutchman DenaliThank you for your experiences. That is the kind of feedback that I was looking for. The other trailer that we are looking at is the Rockwood 8289. Basically the same floor plan but there are things such as insulation that I like better about the Denali.Re: Dutchman DenaliAre there just not many Denali fifth wheels out there because I just don't find a lot of comments either good or bad. Thanks for the links provided but a lot of the comments were from a couple of years ago so that's what makes me wonder about how many units are out there. Sometimes no comments mean people are happy with their purchase.Re: Dutchman DenaliI have searched the forum and didn't come up with much. That's why I posted here, trying to do my homework. There is a lot of difference between a 2006 trailer and a 2014.Re: Dutchman DenaliNoticed these are from 2006. I'm sure a lot has changed since then.
