campground in Maine??
So last summer we moved up into a 28' class C MH from our suburban and Jayco pull behind. In the past we have always done more traveling than camping with our campers. leaving the camper behind while we'd head out each day to tour the area we were in for that day or two then moving on. Since we purchased this MH we have just stayed at camping resorts where we havent left the campground. This will be our first non resort traveling trip we will be making in the MH. We would like to head to Maine and tour the state. We will not be towing a toad. Can anyone suggest a campground that might offer a shuttle or bus tour of the area from the camp? We stayed at the Newburg KOA a few years back. We liked this location because it offered a bus tour of NYC that departed right there from the Campground. NEW YORK CITY NORTH / NEWBURGH KOA. The tour was a bit fast pasted but we saw & Visited all the "hot Spots" and the tour bus offered a discount bus ticket if we wanted to return the next day. We just purchased a Ladder bike rack and was wondering if anyone could suggest a good bike cover. This is our first class C, all our units were pull behinds and we'd just put the bikes in the camper. We are planning a trip to Florida in February and don't want the bikes getting dirty with the nasty NY road salt on the way down. Any suggesting are welcomed. Hello everyone. I need suggestions... Does anyone know of a good place to stop on the way down to Orlando. We are here in NY and will be stopping in Norfolk, VA to pick up our daughter then continue on to Orlando. We are planning on traveling Feb 11 and don't have reservation in Orlando until the 14th.
