As per their website (Trails Collection), renewal dates are as follows: "I understand that my membership in The Trails Collection Reciprocal Program is separate and distinct from my existing Thousand Trails membership and that I must maintain my existing Thousand Trails membership in good standing. In addition, I understand that the dues for membership in The Trails Collection Reciprocal Program are currently $199 per year and that I will be charged $199 for the partial year beginning today and ending on the anniversary date of my existing Thousand Trails membership. The only part of the Collections add-on is the pricing structure. I'm not concerned with the $199 as advertised on their website, but I find it odd that it isn't prorated and renews on your TT anniversary date. Our date is in March, so if we added it today, it would be $199 for 3 1/2 months, then another annual renewal cost of $199. Why make it an annual fee based on the date of enrollment...the fine print I guess!676Views0likes0CommentsRe: Extended Warranty - Good thing ? Is it necessary ?
I had to think twice about an extended warranty yesterday while sitting at the Cummins dealer getting some preventative maintenance done on our DP. We were there for a simple fluids change, but there was another couple of who had been there going on a week...for a new fuel pump. Now granted, I don't know the extent of their story, or what else was wrong, but the gentlemen indicated that the total bill for the pump and labor was going to be around $6k. Like I said, I don't know what this all included, but he alluded to it being just related to the fuel pump on his DP...so that got me really thinking twice about an extended warranty...is it worth it or not, I don't know, but if it would have covered any of his $6k bill, it surely would have been worth the effort into looking at the coverage.547Views0likes0CommentsWinegard RoadTrip Mission - Trav'ler Upgrade - AC Revolution
We just bought a 'new to us' 2016 American Revolution and have already began the upgrade list. The first exploratory item is the satellite system. Currently we have the Winegard RoadTrip Mission in-motion system, which of course has been plagued with issues and is discontinued. We had (on our previous coach) the Trav'ler and want to go back to that HD system ... my question is this - has anyone upgraded their dome system on the 2016 American Coach Revolution and if so, how did you run the new control wiring and where (inside the coach) did you put the control box? It was easy with our previous coach, I could drill straight up through the roof above an overhead compartment that already had 120v capability ... in this coach, I'm not sure where I can drill through and where I can mount the new dish utilizing the already in place coax to the mission dome. So, I'm at that point where I'm ready to pull the trigger on a TPMS for our 5ver (I know, I'm late, but better late then never!!) and really need some good advice on which system to invest in. I've been really looking at the TST507RV with the 4 Flow Through sensors, but the price keeps creeping up and up. I'm not sure this is the forum to put this in, but thought I'd throw it out there and see what the opinions are with regards to any system that I should be considering. Thanks in advance.
