If you keep the existing WDH get yourself a longer bar/pipe - like three feet long- to use to "snap up" the chain brackets. How long is the one you use?Re: Look at my hitch set up please....You learned a thing or two for sure and that can't hurt. I hope it has not lead to confusion for you. Knowing what you do now what do you think is the correct fix and/or what would you like the dealer to do for you?Re: Look at my hitch set up please....If the axles cannot be "flipped" to gain you five inches of ground clearance at the tongue you can still raise the trailer how high you want/need by putting "blocks" between the axles and frame. It is very easy to do. As I said earlier if you remount the coupler - actually you would put a new one on - you will gain two inches which is not much. A new coupler will cost about $20.00 or so You have to decide how much you want to spend to have someone do this work if you can't do it yourself. If it was mine I could fix all of this for less than a hundred bucks, then I would spend two more for a powered jack. Three hundred all in no labour which could be another three to four hundred or so.Re: Look at my hitch set up please....Exactly what 2010 model do you have? I could remove and weld the coupler back on in one hour.Re: Look at my hitch set up please....If it was me I would.... Remount the coupler on top and gain about two inches in height Add more tilt to the head and adjust so as to remove some chain links "Flip" the axles to gain about five more inches in height Easy...
