In addition to all of the features accessible at most Myrtle Beach campgrounds. The have their own water park that just opened in the Fall of 2013. Very nice addition. We always stay oceanfront so we have a paver site with a firepit. But those get booked up fast. There are some good pictures of it on their website/facebook page. Some other campgrounds boast a lazy river and pools, but no one in MB can match their water park. We've stayed at most and continue to go to Lakewood for the size of the sites and amenities. Their golf cart policy isn't as relaxed as Ocean Lakes, but the campground is very nice. Ocean lakes has pull through sites, but the roads are very narrow if you have a big unit, so getting in and out of sites is a tight squeeze. And we like the end spots. I've avoided a few close calls from guys who cannot judge the tail swing of their camper (which usually ended in me yelling "STOP" and spilling my beer). My uncle had his new 2014 camper significantly damaged at Ocean Lakes by a similar inexperienced driver last year. Ocean Lakes is probably the most crowded one in my opinion (but we still go there around Easter and in the fall when it is less busy-so I cant say I hate it), but there is a lot of full time residents/houses on the property so golf carts zoom around 12 months a year. They all have their perks and disadvantages. But don't be fooled, if you are going to the beach in the summer, expect crowds.Re: Post your tow vehicle pics hereFor our first four years of camping, we towed with my 1970 Suburban. It was an awesome rig because it was a conversation piece at every campground and I met some great gearheads who also loved old trucks. But, its a tough economy so I sold it last summer to help grow our small business here in NASCAR country. Now I have a "normal" tow vehicle and I guess we kinda blend in. Nobody ever stops by to talk old cars. haha. Sure do miss my 'ol hot rod. We also traded campers two weeks ago. Re: Newbie seller need help please!!We bought the Avenger 32BIT which stickers in the low to mid 30's. I think they showed an MSRP of $36,995. They had it marked down to a RV show price of $26,995 and we finally closed the deal at $23,900. There is definitely room to play on these things. I did a nationwide RV search on RV Trader, found the best price in the country on the exact same model and started my negotiations there.Re: Has any used LED's or EL Wire to outline their RV?You are seeing more and more of this type of accent lighting on campers. In 5 years, this type of lighting will be a factory option.Re: Has any used LED's or EL Wire to outline their RV?Wow, my first post and I get a couple people who want to share their unsolicited NEGATIVE opinion. In my opinion, I wasn't asking if YOU liked the idea. I was asking if anyone had tried it. Feel free to shut your shades (and your mouth) if you end up in the campground next to me. We aren't looking to add Clark Griswold flair to our camper. Just accent lighting. Im sure it will look good. Negative opinions will be ignored. You should google EL wire. It is VERY subtle in low light. Didn't your mom ever tell you if you cant say anything nice, don't say anything at all. By the way, why would this get moved from technology to tech issues? I would definitely consider this a technology question. I consider "issues" something that is needing troubleshooting?LED Light options: Has any used LED's to outline their RV?This topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 28143505Has any used LED's or EL Wire to outline their RV?OK, so LED lights are very common at the campground these days, but in all of our camping I haven't seen anyone attempt to use LED's or EL wire to "outline" their camper. I was using LED strips under my awning before you could even buy them through camper stores, but it's time to see if anyone has raised the bar. And I guess I mean, led strips or EL wire around the outer body lines of the camper... (up the front, across the roofline, and down the rear...maybe even under the frame) Has anyone tried it? We are trading in our 2008 Salem 29FKSS this week and moving up to a 37' bunkhouse. I'd love to play around with some custom lighting options to make it pop at night. Please share pics of yours if you've done it! Thanks Jeff
