If you do load to 12k or above then you need the one that goes to 14k.Re: Camping with a 5th Wheel in Yellowstone ParkI stayed in Yellowstone two years ago. The only campground that has large enough spaces is Fishing Bridge. It is in about the center of the park. My 5ver is 35 feet and my truck was a longbed crew cab dually. Go to the website and use their online reservation system. It asks for lengths of rv's.Re: Auxiliary fuel tank under bed coverI also have a Truxedo roll up cover and my Transfer Flow 50 gallon tank fits under it just fine.Re: Pulling 5th wheel through YellowstoneUS 212 is Bear Tooth Pass. It is a top ten scenic route for motorcyclists and consists of 82 full turns and 19 switchbacks. Top of the pass is at 10947 feet. Weather conditions can be extreme, it was closed on 7/28/15 due to icy conditions. I rode it last year on my motorcyle at the end of June and there was still 2 feet of snow at the top. Not sure if I would take my 35 foot 5th wheel over it. You might want to Google Bear Tooth Highway. Enjoy Yellowstone, it is beautiful.Re: Difference in electric brakesMy Fuzion 302 never had good brakes. Towing it with a 2010 Dodge 3500 I had the controller set at "10" and could just barely feel braking action from the trailer when I used the controller to actuate the brakes. I had the trailer and truck checked several times with nothing wrong ever found. Finally went to MorRyde on 7/1/15 and had disc brakes installed. The tailer now STOPS!. Controller now set at 7.5!Re: Tire and wheel experts???His Fuzion 322 probably has two 7000 pound axles. LT tires would not have the load capacity if he loads up close to GVWR. His best bet would be to go to a G rated 16" tire or upgrade to 17.5 inch wheel with H rated tires.Re: For Those With Patio KitsMy Fuzion 302 came with the patio kit. The panels have been hanging in my garage since I brought it home. Too much of a pain to get the Harleys in and out of the 5'ver with the patio panels installed.Re: Finally got weights from CAT scaleAnother option is to go to an after market upfitter, the guys who install flatbeds or utility bodies, they probably can do your spring upgrade and issue a "remanufactered" Data Plate with an upgraded GVWR. This is what happens with larger trucks, they come with cab and frame rails, whoever puts whatever body on it issues a new data plate with updated GVWR. Note: I didn't want to imply a "dually" was needed, only that it was over the GVWR. A SRW with the proper GVWR of course would be fine.Re: Finally got weights from CAT scaleSo your GVW on your F250 is 11120 pounds and that is not fully loaded. What is your GVWR for the truck? I would say you are severly over capacity for your truck. My Ram 3500 dually is rated at 12200 pounds. If I would hazard a guess your probably at least 2000 pounds over your GVWR.Re: Disc Brake conversion?Good luck with Blue Dog. I bought my 5ver from them and went there to get a quote and they never got back to me. The told me they could do the job but never have done one. Doesn't make one very confident for the work they would perform.
