PeteRe: Dash Cam info: Looking at DOD LS460W, anyone have one?Hi Bob, The DOD LS460W shines in the nighttime mode. I can see the license plates you mention with utmost clarity. Now that being said this is after you transfer the video to you computer. (BTW Free download software and it comes with the camera.) The only thing I found as a handicap is the battery time, It only last about 10 or 15 minutes when not plugged into a 12v source. But I always use it in my truck so no problem. If you need it to take a quick vid or a couple of still photos it would work on the batteries OK. As far as the functionality, It's easy once you read all the documentation and familiarize yourself with all the controls. Have you visited the DOD web site? http://dod-tech.us/ Lots of info there. Bottom line I did a lot of research on dash cameras and I came up to this You pay for what you get. Stay away, Stay very far away from those super cheap Dash Cams. Hope this helps. Pete Purple Heart RecipientRe: 6 years on LT265/75R16s... no problems. Here are my 6 year old tires, And they looked new too! The lead tire is the spare, it had dirt on it. Two blowouts same side. What a day! Re: Free Onan air filter #0140-3351Hi Bill, I just sent you an e-mail with my address. Thanks Pete Purple Heart RecipientRe: Free Onan air filter #0140-3351I'll Take it I'll send you my address PeteRe: Damage from tire blow-outs Me Again wrote: C-Bears wrote: A good way to help lessen damage is to install a TPMS. It will show you the changing air pressure and temperature in each tire monitored, plus it will sound a warning if any tire has a rapid air drop. My system only cost about $225 and I would not consider towing without it. I know the exact air pressure in each trailer tire as soon as I hook up in the morning and the whole time while towing. Does nothing for a tire that throws a cap or has sudden air loss. The damage to the trailer will occur before one can pull over. A tool yes, a complete answer to the issue no! A good start is to have high quality tires to start with. Chris I agree Chris, You pretty much hit the nail right on the head.Re: Damage from tire blow-outsProgressive Insurance (Yes) It covered it all, No Problems Great customer service.
