I will check each one ThanksBattery ProblemsMy 2006 Damen Daybreak battery is losing complete power fast. I put in a new battery, it died. Took it back, they checked it and said it was OK. Then recharged it. Worked fine for 2 days now is completely dead again. I'm not sure what would be a draw to kill it so fast. I noticed a few weeks ago the bedroom slide wouldn't come out unless I had the generator on. It never worked that way before. It always worked with the battery only. When it ran with newly charged battery it ran great. Then within minutes it's dead. Your thoughts please. Thanks, GaryReserve CaliforniaThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 30309843Reserve California website question?Any of you that use this for Ca State Parks. It looks like the website has changed. Am I missing something? It used to show 2 weeks at a time availability up til the 6th month. Doesn't seem to do that anymore. Am I missing something? Re: Is a Damon Challenger a decent motorhome?I have a 2006 Daybreak. That is the model below the Challenger. It has had some problems. Most of which I see on this forum several times. It has gotten me and my family to every place we wanted to go. I'm not sure about the 04 but mine had a recall many years ago to move the hydraulic hose's away from the engine block. Check that they are tied back. I would think if there hasn't been a problem with them by now you would be safe. All my components work great. AC, Fridge, slides, water heater, pump etc. As everyone says, get it checked out. Good luck. GaryRe: Tips for California early April RV tripIf you do decide to go down Hwy 1 south of Monterey, there is a beautiful park set back from everything. Julia Pheifer Park is great. They have a small river, creek, that has a dammed up area. Great for swimming. Lots of hiking and beauty. If the campground is full they will let you dry camp way in back for a lesser fee.Re: Magic buss project" Hello world here's a song that we're singing. Com-on get happy." or " Every day I get confused. Oh Magic Bus. To get on the bus to take me to you."Re: Mass Air Flow SensorThis is so crazy. This sounds exactly what happened to me this weekend. ( Not to highjack the thread) I was heading up from Morro Bay Sunday morning when my 06 Daybreak just stopped running.I got towed to a shop in Watsonville. It would start then die. They tested fuel pressure and spark, all normal. They got abnormal trim codes and inspection revealed bad info from the Mass Air Flow sensor. Are you ready for this. The found a bug lodged in the MAF Blocking air flow to the sensor filament. Cleaned it out, put in new filter and it runs perfect.Re: Bedroom slide not workingCa Traveler. correct, I don't hear the motor. Just the click. They do not sound like they used to. Also a couple weeks ago I ran the slide out and in and it did have a different sound, kind of a whining sound. In the past when hitting the switch it would occasionally not work. It would take a couple hits. Maybe just the switch? Thanks for your's and Ron's responses'. Your thoughts on traveling. It seems to be in safely and doesn't buge when I push on it. Ron, I will try and see if I can find any numbers on the slide or motors.
