All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Roadtrek Front Seat Replacement CoversGood to hear from you, too! Getting ready to go to east side of Sierras tomorrow morning! Did you ever get a new RV/trailer? Think I will just make a seat cushion for it. Not ready for expense of reupholstering! The next thing I'm going to have to do is redo the clear coat on the top of the van. It's flaking off in big chunks, a result of outdoor storage right next to sand dunes and blowing sand. Did you know I moved to the central coast 4 years ago? I'm south of Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande, just off Hwy 1. Hope all is well with you!Roadtrek Front Seat Replacement CoversI have a 2007 Roadtrek on a Chevy Express 2500 chassis. It is my understanding that these are not the original Chevy front seats, and that Roadtrek installed them as part of the conversion. I would like to get a replacement seat cover for the drivers seat, which can rotate around and has 2 fold up arm rests and a high back. Does anyone know where they can be purchased (and what they are called)? Thanks, MimiTires for RTI have a R T 170, 2007. I had a massive blowout on 395 this morning on way to E. Sierras. You were helpful with last tires purchased: Yokohama Geolander But model not made any more. What are your current recommendations , tire gurus? Will get all new tires when go home. Now I'm going to sit by a creek! Thanks!Solar install recs for Central Coast area CAI have a Roadtrek 170 and would really like to add solar to keep my single coach battery charged. Does anyone have any recommendations for installation in the San Luis a Obispo/Pismo Beach /Santa Maria area? I have read that Roadtrek installs are tricky so I'd like to find someone with RT/camper van experience. Would love to go to AM Solar in OR but that hasn't worked out and I really need it for all the dry camping I do. MimiTransmission & generator service for RT: Central Coast CAI have a 2007 RT 170. Any recommendations for transmission specialist in Santa Maria/Pismo Beach/SLO? Also for Onan generator? Thanks, MimiRe: Solar in Pismo Beach CA areaThanks for info! @Rodger....surprised you remember that! Trip to Oregon didn't happen....I bought a house instead! Am loving living back on the central coast!Solar in Pismo Beach CA areaI would like to put solar on my RT 170. Anyone have a recommendation for a good place to get it done? Thanks! When to turn off house batteryI have a 2007 Roadtrek 170. I've recently moved (back to the central coast of CA!!!) and must store my RT off site. Should I put the battery switch to off to disconnect it while it is in the storage yard? Will this preserve the charge in the house battery? Will the CO2 monitor still go off if the battery switch is in the off position?Re: Storage SolutionsI have used Command adhesive hooks in my Roadtrek. However, that side can easily get very hot (even though it's fake stainless....plastic?), and command and suction cups holders fall off.Re: Photos and Video now available on RV.Net's new CommunityThe beta RV Community site is FULL of advertisers (at least in the newer members section) from shoes to "enlargement products." Something has got to be changed! Edit: I now see that the original posting was March, 2009. If this beta site didn't happen then it should be deleted.
