Hubby is using a screwdriver to manually push the mechanism. Is there a better pedal operated toilet that we can get....reviews on these are not great. We need one ASAP because we live in it...not even going to do the warranty. Could we pretty much replace with any rv toilet. I DO want a china bowl though as we had plastic on previous rv and didn't like that at all. DonnaRe: Are all super C's 4 wheel drive?I did some homework and jayco makes one, nexus, dynamax our friends have...none our in our budget for new and wouldn't pay it anyway but they do indeed make them. How does house hold up, ah, not sure on that one. Maybe in how you drive...Are all super C's 4 wheel drive?Wondering...saw and older conquest super C and was wondering.Re: UK Tourist Looking for Florida adviceComing from the UK, I would not do summer. ITS HOT...ungodly hot. Narrowing down is smart. The state parks are quite nice...but you would need to find cancellations at this point and you may be able to do that if you keep at it. I would NOT wait until you arrive to try and get those...although people do. The florida keys are lovely and something you do not have similar in UK...campgrounds are pricey and state park campgrounds are hard to get but cancellations do exist. The temps in florida keys in March are like 85 degrees with swimmable water. Enjoy your stay.Re: Winnemucca, NV to Las VegasWe've been on both and they are fine...don't expect services but we love Nevada. Tonopah services.Re: Reviews on thousand trails camping pass?Thank you...you all pretty much confirmed it is not for us. We boondock a LOT and I don't like out of system for 7 day thing.Reviews on thousand trails camping pass? Can anyone give me the inside scoop on this...good and bad. Have passport america and don't use it much at all...lifetime...lolRe: Taking dog to alaska from NY...food questionsThanks all. She usually eats raw food that I make but not bothering with that with border changes. I can convert her about a week before trip (to say honest kitchen dehydrated), bring enough for usa part. Buy more in canada enough to hopefully use up and not throw out. Hit up anchorage/fairbanks for hopefully enough to last most of the trip (3 months?). I can make phone calls to see what they carry. Hopefully that will do it for us.Taking dog to alaska from NY...food questionsPlanning Alaska trip with dog...have heard beef is a no and chicken is a no...was thinking that dehydrated honest kitchen would be a good choice. Any ideas on dog food...about a good week to get to border in Montana so no problem there. Then Canada for as long as a month but probably not. Then AK....lots of borders. What have people done with pup food?Re: How do you sell a relatively new rv and downsize/moneywise?Yes, I noticed new ones for sale less than I paid so I will wait it out. I ask because we tried to sell a simple $20k pick up truck in our area of NY and it just sat, and sat. We ended up having to trade it in so I don't think a $100k + rv will sell on the front lawn...people don't have that kind of money in pocket...need financing.
