I've been waiting for the registration paper work to get the plates. Today I went to the county web site to see what I had to do to get extended temporary plates. I had to go back to the lender to find out what was going on. They stated that the state is not recognizing the manufacturer of the motor-home. Really? Granted they are no longer in business but to say my RV is non existent. I will be able to get another 45 day temp plate but after that; Hopefully it will be cleared up soon. A little more info would be helpful. Was this motor home titled and licensed in another state? Was it "rebuilt" or altered in any way? Was it ever registered in the state of Florida? I ask because I am aware of a person who purchased a motor home from someone in Kentucky which was originally titled in Florida where it was "damaged" and repaired. Problem was there was an outfit that was committing insurance fraud and as a result, Florida voided all titles, including reconstructed ones, associated with the outfit which effectively made any vehicle owned by the outfit invalid. Apparently, some states do not issue titles for RVs, TTs, or other types of trailers so when you go to transfer in other states, a vehicle coming from such a state must have a certificate of origin or proof that it was once titled in another state. Well, it is my understanding that Kentucky either did not issue title at the time or was not reciprocal participant in some nation system so when he went to titled in Pennsylvania, it was discovered that it was one of the voided Florida vehicles. There is a little more to the story but this could be something similar if DMV is not recognizing the manufacture. Regardless, I hope you get your mess straighten out.Re: NEW Dodge 2013 Ram 3500 4x4 -> ride is horrible! What to do?chakatania wrote "I MUST ADD THAT...when we "test drove" the truck we noticed a "light-on" on the dashboard. We asked about it and the salesman said..."oh..that's the 'low tire pressure' sign...we'll add air later if you buy it." My Ram 2500 showed same thing. My salesman told me that they low inflate one tire so the system will show up to make you aware that system is on the truck. He then showed all four tires and which one was underinflated so I could see how system works should the indicator light up when I was the owner. I was told that prior to delivery, all tire pressures, fluids and other components are rechecked to make sure they are at manufactures recommended specs. DW and I took truck over night and both of us drove it for a half hour on all roadways we normally drive. When I took delivery of the truck, the indicator was not on. I checked pressures and they were all at proper spec. Perhaps, and I was not there, that is what happened here. Oh, by the way, the ride did not change it. In fact, both DW and I agree that it rode exactly as stiff and truck like as the 2007 2500 we replaced it with. After all, it is a TRUCK. Now, if your DH has taken all that air out of tires and no light is coming on, I would certainly take it to the dealership and have the unit checked as it must not be functioning properly. Keep Truckin', keep it safe and Happy Camping!Re: Kings Dominion in VA this weekend- Americamps/KOA?Having stayed at both, I would recommend either. At King’s Dominion, you will hear trains before trucks as it sits close to a mile from 95 but has train tracks within 100 yds of property line. Americamps is right along the highway. We are not the heaviest of sleepers and outside noise did not bother us at either. Safe travels. How long until I get itWhat kind of wait times for delivery on an ordered unit have people been experience lately on Forest River products. We ordered a new Forest River Rockwood fiver in mid-April and was told 6 to 8 weeks which works fine for us as we have no trips planned until after July 4th holiday. Friends of ours ordered Forest River product (Flagstaff) on April 1 and it has yet to be delivered. Call to dealer (different from ours) did not give them much confidence that it would be soon. Waiting for call back from our dealer on the status of ours but now I am concerned it could longer than 8 weeks (June 17 would be 8 weeks).
