2002 Baggo Adventure fiberglass collision..
Made contact with a soft wall this past wk. and broke some facial fiberglass. Along with pushing the bottom of the windshield metal frame into the windshield. As these Winnies of this vintage are known to rust and leak at the top, as mine did, even garaged keep for 20 yrs. I would like a new frame installed would require both windshields to be removed. Possible need to have the frame re-main, as the old frame could be used as a pattern. I need a repair shop with the expertise to do this somewhere on the east coast. Has anyone had any experience with such a shop? As I know this will not be cheap, but would like to finish up our camping experience with this 20 yr. old MH. My question is why did you have the alignment done in the first place? Was the old tires wearing excessive, or did the salesman suggest you need to have your NEW tires aligned as you just invested a lot of money. Let me guess! Been on earth 75 yrs, NEVER had a vehicle aligned. But I have turned down the advice to have them aligned many times. Just installed my fourth set of Michelin on a 2002 Winnie Adventure. Drifterpilot, I tried to read all the answers that you got, as I have a very similar problem with my 8.1. What I think I know about the water pump is their are several pumps that fit the 8.1. I have been lead to believe that the correct pump has 7 vanes or blades while a lesser pump has fewer. I carry a Delco pump with me at all times, that I paid less than $100 dollars for. I need to take the back off of the back and check that it has the 7/8 blades. Do you think that you have fixed your problem? If so give us what you think fixed the problem! Thank you for your time and anyput.....Tenn.Vol. Also had a friend that had a fan clutch replaced yrs. ago in a 454 MH, the fan was for a light duty car/truck. My workhorse is 2002, on a 32 ft. chassis with 19.5 rims. I installed air bags on 4 corners, have no problem with sway or large vehicles rocking the M/H. I always check what is for sell local, and similar as to what I have for sell,size, age, mileage.Has the unit been stored inside? Reason for selling. I always buy RV's boats and motorcycle in the off season, sell such during the height of the season. Know what your bottom price is and add 5%, 10%.
