I use to live in S.Calif where the solar panels kept my 2 batteries always in full charge; most days were sunny there. Now I live in N. Calif and there is less sun. When I go to use my trailer, the batteries are dead (even though I have solar panels).Should I disconnect the batteries after camping? Thanx, MarkRe: Water tankThank you for your time & info ~ MarkWater tankCan I install a larger fresh water tank on my Airstream Trailer?Larger fresh water tank ?I own a 2014 Airstream International Serenity (23') I posted this query on an 'Airstream Forum' website, but as of yet have received no reply. My trailer has a 39 gallon fresh water tank & I'm inquiring about installing a larger tank. fyi - all the Airstream holding tanks are inclosed in a sheet metal container (which are heated to prevent liquids from freezing in cold weather). Any info/referral will help. Thanx ~MarkRe: Trailer security alarmThanx a lot for your reply. I think I'll check out Lowes website and see what they offer. Thanx again. Mark 8-)Trailer security alarmI'm about to move to an RV Park and live in a 'Park Model'. I'm going to be storing my Travel Trailer on site (approx. 600 feet away from the dwelling). I was advised to get a 'driveway alarm' (or something similar) to help protect the trailer. I was told to obtain a unit which has a delay function, so if the alarm is triggered, I would have a few minutes to enter the trailer and deactivate; in the event of a false alarm, etc. Has anyone heard of such a set-up ? And if so, a referral to a manufacturer would be appreciated. Thanx for reading . . . Markcharging batteriesI have an 18' travel trailer with two batteries situated on the tongue. When charging, can I charge both batteries @ the same time; or should I charge each one separately ? The batteries are both linked. I was thinking maybe placing the positive lead of the charger to the positive side of one battery & the negative lead of the charger to the negative side of the other battery -?- Lemme know the correct way to do this. Thanx, Mark
